In the sprawling five bedroom townhouse in Safety Beach, VIC

A sprawling oceanfront mansion in one of Australia’s most exclusive coastal suburbs offers breathtaking views from all three floors and a very special outdoor pool.

The 500 m2 house in Safety Beach, a seaside town of 4,821 residents on the Mornington Peninsula, 83 kilometers south of Melbourne, has been described as ‘incomparable’ to other properties in the area.

A facade covered with zinc cladding, concrete and floor-to-ceiling windows catches the eye at first glance, but the real eye-catchers are hidden behind the front door.

Open plan living spaces reflect a luxury resort that still feels like a family home, with indoor and outdoor spaces spanning all three levels, connected by an elevator.

Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, three kitchens – two inside, one outside – a spacious study and a wine cellar are spread around the house.

The views from the upstairs bedrooms stretch for miles, while the regal master offers unparalleled luxury in the form of a fold-down TV, infrared sauna and outdoor bath.

Two covered terraces are separated by a solar and gas heated pool cum spa, while the ground floor – currently used as a retreat for teenagers – can be repurposed as a self-contained apartment that can be rented out on Airbnb.

The space has a living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms with a bathroom in between and a private terrace, separate from the rest of the house.

Touted as commercial quality, the main chef’s kitchen has two ovens, two dishwashers and two fridges, as well as a pantry and breakfast bar.

Listing agent Ian Ross, who oversees the sale of the home for Danckert Real Estate, said the free-standing cockpit was installed outside to capture a view of Arthur’s Seat and the bay below.

The four year old home, built in 2017, has been meticulously designed by the current owner with a background in commercial real estate.

Mr. Ross described it as ‘incomparable’ to others in the area.

“It’s really unique, very special,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

“The seller designed it from start to finish, and he managed to put it all together seamlessly – you don’t find that with properties of a similar size in Safety Beach.”

A target price of $ 2.3 million to $ 2.5 million (AUD) has been set for an April 15 auction, which Mr. Ross expects to at least pick up.

Interest is high, he said, especially from young professional families and retirees.
