Ben posed the question during a romantic proposal on the beach in North Bondi in 2018, after the couple dated for three and a half years.

Abbey posted a series of images of the proposal on Instagram at the time.

“A thousand times yes,” Abbey wrote alongside the romantic images.

Speaking to WHO magazine days after the proposal, Abbey reflected on the couple’s love story and said it was the long drives to the Sky News studio before moving to Seven that cemented their relationship.

Meanwhile, Abbey recently confirmed her romance with AFL star Kane after months of speculation.

The sports presenter, 31, told the Herald Sun earlier this month: ‘Kane is really good.’

She also revealed why she and the 29-year-old footy pro made a perfect couple, saying, “He’s pretty shy and I’m not, so we’re a good match.”
