In the ugly feud between two V8 Supercar drivers after a nasty tire-smashing collision – while Big Brother star friend gets involved
- Supercar drivers Scott McLaughlin and David Reynolds had an ugly crash on Sunday
- Reynolds struck back from McLaughlin & # 39; s car during Townsville 400, causing the band to pop
- After the race the two confronted each other, but they could not solve the problem
- Reynolds reality star girlfriend got involved and shouted at McLaughlin
A split second decision made the relationship between two V8 Supercar drivers superfluous, and they do not want to admit that they are to blame for a nasty collision in Townsville on Sunday.
David Reynolds hit the rear of Scott McLaughlin's car during Townsville 400, causing McLaughlin's tires to pounce and send drivers, who were currently third and second, to the rear of the track.
McLaughlin beat Reynolds for & # 39; desperado & # 39; tactics, pointing to the wet conditions made the crash all the more dangerous, but Reynolds and his reality friend Tahan Lew-Fatt have returned.

Supercar driver David Reynolds and his girlfriend, former Big Brother star Tahan Lew-Fatt, were seen in a war of words with driver Scott McLaughlin after a nasty clash on Sunday
In a heated meeting between the two drivers, McLaughlin demanded an explanation, The Courier Mail reported.
& # 39; [Reynolds] says he punched a hole, but I think he made that gap & # 39 ;, he said.
& # 39; I was probably a bit safe because it was wet and he decided to attack.
& # 39; It's split-second stuff … but I didn't think I'd do it. & # 39;
The drivers were not the only ones to start, with McLaughlin confirming that Lew-Fatt, who came third in 2013 on Big Brother, had also exploded at Reynolds.
& # 39; She actually repeated what Dave said, she happened to be next to him, & # 39; he said.
Speak with supercars.com, Reynolds said he and McLaughlin had gone to look at the images of the crash after the race, and both were still convinced they were right.
He explained that McLaughlin had come to his garage to confront him before he could view images of the clang.
& # 39; I really didn't say anything, everyone shouted at him & he said.
& # 39; My girlfriend was yelling at him and everything. It was good, no drama & # 39; s. & # 39;
Reynolds cut the back of McLaughlin's car in the first lap of the Townsville 400 and grabbed the two drivers, then third and second, at the back of the pack.
McLaughlin went to see Reynolds after the race and was not warmly welcomed. Reynolds confirmed that his girlfriend yelled & # 39; against the driver, although both men still believe they are right
Reynolds said he was standing by his decision, noting that there was no point in avoiding the risk during a race.
& # 39; We're just racing here. If I don't go for the place where we don't race, we'll just follow each other around, & he said.
& # 39; It's not fun, it's not interesting. & # 39;
The crash proved catastrophic for both drivers, with McLaughlin and Reynolds rushing back to the pit for urgent repairs.
McLaughlin finished eleventh, while Reynolds finished 20th – a far cry from their starting positions of second and third.
Reynolds did not resist his girlfriend's behavior and commented: & # 39; If I don't go for the place where we don't race, we just follow each other around & # 39;
