Minka Kelly was pictured looking casually gorgeous as she took her dog for a walk in LA on Thursday.

The Friday Night Lights star, 42, donned a white hoodie with pink trim, a matching pair of sweatpants as well as white sneakers for the outing.

The actress wore her brunette locks pulled back into a ponytail, and seemed to go makeup-free.

Meanwhile, her adorable four-legged companion rocked a green and white bandana around his neck.

The outing comes after Minka opened up about her traumatic and abusive childhood in her upcoming memoir, Tell Me Everything, in which she also discusses her past “toxic” relationship with Friday Night Lights co-star Taylor Kitsch.

Kelly said her boyfriend had already “insisted” on taking graphic photos of the pair – before getting a video camera and urging Minka to “perform more vicious scenes”.

She was shocked at the way she acted “like a little kid,” Kelly said upon watching the video, writing: “I didn’t even remember making the tape. I became a master at letting go of my body when things were uncomfortable.”

An ex-boyfriend allegedly tried to sell the video to the press years later, with Kelly saying she had to shell out $50,000 to buy back the movie.

She said her boyfriend wanted her to write his name in ink on her body and, fearing she would be kicked out of the house, agreed to get her lip imprint tattooed “on the side of her pubic mound”.

She wrote: “Little did I know I would spend the rest of my life explaining to new lovers what the sign was, and lying to everyone… I was ashamed to admit the truth, I was so dependent on a man ‘d let him label me as (if) I was a member of the NXIVM sect.

She claims her boyfriend repeatedly called her a ‘slut’ because of her dress sense and wanted her to have sex with her friend – when she refused, he had sex with her friend in front of her. The next day, Kelly discovers she is pregnant.

When her mother returned, Kelly said the couple went to Planned Parenthood as she agonized over the termination of the pregnancy.

Maureen suggested raising the child together, and Kelly wrote, “With what money? What house? What insurance? I couldn’t imagine bringing a child to what my mom brought me to. Of course not.”

Kelly worked as a receptionist in a plastic surgeon’s office, but was fired after turning down a boob job as payment.

She worked as a surgeon’s assistant while modeling and taking acting classes, before landing her breakout role in Friday Night Lights in 2006.

Kelly also described how her mother moved in with her and her boyfriend, but refused to get out of bed and demanded $5,000, which got Kelly kicked out.

Kelly and her mother patched up their relationship, as the actress moved her to Austin, Texas, where the show was filmed, so she could take care of her while she was being treated for colon cancer.

Elsewhere in her memoir, Kelly revealed that she underwent IVF with an unnamed friend, with whom the star became pregnant but tragically miscarried.

She said she sometimes thinks her mother “should have had an abortion” because she wasn’t ready to be a mother.

Previously, Kelly was in a relationship with Trevor Noah, 39 years old. In May 2022, the couple separated after two years of on and off dating. She has been dating Imagine Dragons star Dan Reynolds, 35, since late 2022.
