A former reality TV contestant who allegedly supplied large quantities of cocaine and MDMA, including to an undercover police officer, is negotiating with police prosecutors, a court has been told.

Marjorie Griffiths, 28, appeared at Downing Center Local Court on Thursday charged with a number of serious drug offences, including supplying a commercial quantity of drugs.

Police allege the former Bachelor star was a major player in a criminal network that supplied large quantities of drugs and laundered illicit profits through an international syndicate.

Just months after his stint on season 10 of The Bachelor last year, police allege Griffiths sold 1kg of cocaine to an undercover police officer and 1kg of MDMA to an unknown person.

Solicitor Serae Kopra told Magistrate Miranda Moody on Thursday morning she was seeking an adjournment of Ms Griffiths’ matters amid ongoing negotiations with the police prosecutor.

“The matter is not ready to proceed, unfortunately we are still waiting for the prosecution to provide material that could lead to some result in the conference negotiations,” he said.

The police prosecutor told the court the office was reserving its brief of evidence “for missing matters”, almost a year after Ms Griffiths’ arrest and subsequent charges.

Ms Griffiths was awakened by heavily armed specialist NSW Police officers and arrested during a dawn raid on her home in Umina Beach on the NSW Central Coast on October 10, 2023.

He faces four charges including supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, failing to give police access to his phone and recklessly dealing in the proceeds of crime.

The 28-year-old appeared on season 10 of the Bachelor when he was paired with Thomas Malucelli, a 35-year-old restaurant manager, but left the show after 12 weeks.

He has not entered a plea and will return to court next month.

The aspiring actress was photographed by NCA NewsWire leaving Silverwater Correctional Complex, west of Sydney, following her release on bail in December.

Mrs Griffiths had spent two months in protective custody since specialist police officers raided her home in Umina Beach.

When she left the prison, she was photographed wearing a white blouse and gray sweatpants and carrying a small plastic bag filled with her belongings.

Her partner helped her with another bag of belongings.

The scenario marks a big change for the former reality TV contestant, who was the fourth would-be bride sent home by bachelor Thomas Malucelli, a 35-year-old restaurant manager.

Griffiths lasted 12 weeks in the show’s tenth season.

As part of his extensive and strict bail conditions, he will be required to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet, abstain from drugs and alcohol and follow a strict curfew.
