Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will make his first Test outing in Saturday’s clash against Grand Slam-chasing Ireland as one of three changes to England’s starting XV.

The 21-year-old Cardiff-born Exeter wing replaced veteran Elliot Daly, with scrum-half Alex Mitchell and lock George Martin also added to the squad.

Feyi-Waboso’s promotion to the first-choice squad comes after a try cameo in the defeat against Scotland at Murrayfield in the final round of the Six Nations.

“As always, we have selected what we believe are our strongest 23 to put us in the best position to win the game,” Borthwick said.

“Ireland are without a doubt one of the best teams in the world and we will have to give our best against them on Saturday.

Scrum-half Alex Mitchell, left, and lock George Martin will start at Twickenham on Saturday.

Danny Care is set to win his 100th game off the bench after being replaced by Mitchell.

“We have prepared well for what will be another classic Six Nations match at Twickenham.”

Mitchell replaced Danny Care, who started in Edinburgh but will now await the chance to win a 100th Test off the bench against Andy Farrell’s imperious Irish visitors.

“I would like to pay a special tribute to Danny Care, who will make his 100th appearance at Twickenham on Saturday. Danny has been a great servant to English rugby and reaching this milestone is an incredible achievement. He is a wonderful player and someone who always puts in “I’m sure Saturday will be an emotional and memorable day for Danny and his family, and the team couldn’t be more proud of their achievement.”

George Ford will remain at 10, meaning Marcus Smith will be used later in the game as a replacement.

At full-back, George Furbank retains his starting place ahead of Freddie Steward.
