Scary video footage shows a stolen car with three young passengers inside that drift dangerously into oncoming traffic.

The stolen Volkswagen Polo was brought to the attention of the Brisbane officers at 2:30 p.m. Friday and there was a police chase.

The vehicle crossed the wrong side of the Warrego Highway while traveling at high speeds.

The approaching vehicles were forced to slow down and move away from the vehicle.

The three passengers also stopped at a petrol station in Biddeston, but fled the scene without paying for fuel once the police arrived.

Officials were eventually able to stop the hazardous vehicle on a rural property when they used a tire deflation device around 3.25pm.

The car was allegedly stolen during the early hours of Thursday morning.

A man of 33 years, a man of 23 years and a woman of 26 have been accused of crimes related to the incident.
