Police are searching for two men as part of a homicide investigation into the death of a young woman who was found with a gunshot wound and not breathing on a suburban Queensland street.
Police say Chloe Jade Mason, 23, known to those close to her as CeeJay, was chased and shot by two men just before she was found outside her home in Caboolture, in the state’s southeast, on December 22.
On Saturday, detectives released images of two men they say could help solve the attack targeting Railway Parade, which occurred shortly after midnight.
The officers found the young woman unconscious and were unable to revive her.
Detectives believe Ms. Mason was shot while being “assaulted by two men.”
The weapon used during the incident has not yet been recovered and the two unidentified assailants remain at large.
Queensland Police also released CCTV footage from the scene at the time of the shooting, including audio, in a public appeal for more information.

Detective Inspector David Harbison said two men had shot him and investigators were treating his death as a homicide.
“Early investigations indicate that the deceased was assaulted by two men who may have chased her along Railway Parade,” he told reporters earlier in the week.
“Police are investigating reports of up to three or four shots fired on that street.”
It is believed that during the attack the woman received a gunshot wound.
Inspector Harbison said police did not believe the incident was a random attack as the parties involved knew each other.
Anyone who traveled on Railway Parade between 11.40pm on December 21 and 12.15am on December 22 is asked to contact police.
