Josie said she discussed with Lachlan how fitness influencers portray unrealistic body standards to young women with Lachlan, but her intelligent statements weren’t even aired.
“I was a little disappointed when they didn’t air that, but I mean, whatever,” Josie said.
“I think it’s really important for people to remember that what you see on screen isn’t always real life.”

She added that while she’s happy with the way she’s been portrayed on the show, she just wanted to make sure she didn’t come across as “stupid.”
“I kept saying to myself, ‘Don’t be stupid, don’t be stupid. Be the smartest beauty,” she said.
Earlier this week, Josie defended her on-screen partner, nerd George Goldfeder, 27, against charges that he pretended to be a nerd and dumped his girlfriend to go on the show.
Josie told Yahoo! Lifestyle that George is not a “fake nerd” despite his extensive acting resume – which includes two movies.
She backed up her claims by listing George’s “geeky” hobbies, including comics, martial arts, and Dungeons and Dragons.
“He’s actually a nerd, really. I think I would know, I spent most of my time with him,” she said.
