A jilted Italian man allegedly stalked his ex-wife by dressing up as a ghost to throw bricks at her house.
The unnamed man, 48, was caught on camera in Lecce, in the Apulia region of southern Italy, wearing a white sheet as he ran towards his ex-partner’s house.
Footage shows him throwing a brick at his window, which can be heard bouncing off the building before hitting the pavement as he runs away.
Local media reported that the man was subject to a restraining order and had been fitted with an anti-stalking device.
The carabinieri later discovered that, despite the device, he had approached his victim eight times in a single day.

The man’s behavior had reportedly been going on for some time and his ex reported him to the police and denounced him publicly.
The images were shared online by the victim’s daughter, also anonymous.
She said: ‘Harassed, threatened, slandered, defamed, deprived of her freedom, for a relationship that ended on one side.’
The young woman also added: ‘Justice is slow, there is little evidence that anything has happened, but I don’t lose hope.’
The man, who lives in Gallipoli, was arrested a few hours later on charges of harassment before being placed under house arrest.
An electronic bracelet has now reportedly been placed on top of the anti-stalking device as well.
