An extreme cleaner has revealed how she spends up to five days transforming strangers’ homes – all for free.

Diana Jones, 23, from Manchester, started cleaning people’s houses after giving her mother’s house a “deep clean”.

Since she started, Diana has cleaned 10 houses in total and said it can take up to five days to finish.

He called the houses the “worst environment” he’ll ever be in, but said it’s rewarding to see the end result.

Diana said: ‘Some families will approach us when a family member is struggling or has a disability.

‘Every situation is different and I think it’s incredible that so many people ask me for help.

‘The house I did recently was a hoarder’s house. The living conditions were bad and it took me five whole days.

“I love the fact that I can help people and their reaction is always emotional.”

Diana started cleaning full-time in January 2024 after helping her mother with household chores.

He realized that his mother was too busy to be constantly cleaning, so he offered to help her.

Diana said: ‘My mother has five children in total and is always busy. She always takes my brothers to after-school clubs and she doesn’t have time.

“I went in and helped her. I was happy and she was happy about it.

After cleaning her mother’s house, Diana posted the transformation videos on social media and began getting people to reach out to her for help.

However, with a lot of effort, Diana transformed it.

The last house he cleaned belonged to a hoarder and it took him five days to finish.

Diana said: ‘Describing the state of the houses is difficult. They can be very intense.

‘It’s not for the faint of heart, I would say. You need to have thick skin to be able to clean them, get in and do what you do.’

One of Diana’s recent cleans was for a family who lived in a four-bedroom house and wanted a place to eat and bathe.

The kitchen was filled with hundreds of flies and he spent two and a half hours cleaning a room full of trash.

After cleaning the house, Diana doesn’t charge them a cent. She said: ‘I don’t charge people a penny. I bring my own cleaning supplies and they get a nice clean house.

‘I have a lot of empathy and once I realized that some people need to help and can’t afford it, I wanted to help.

“I don’t think there is enough help for people in the UK and if there is someone who can offer a hand, that’s amazing.”

All this debris was making this room dirty and messy, and it was in desperate need of cleaning.

After the hard work of bagging all the trash and scrubbing the floor and walls, the room looks better

GARBAGE OUT: This room, which was filled with garbage and debris, looks much better after a deep cleaning.

Diana said people often get excited when they see what their house looks like after Diana was there to clean.

She said: ‘I’ve had reactions where people have become very tearful. I am very happy to be able to have an impact on their lives.

‘Their normality is not ours. They deserve like anyone else to breathe in their own space.

“I just think what I do is amazing and people should help when they can.”
