An Australian veterinary nurse who has worked with almost every type of dog has revealed her all-time favorite breed.

Senior nurse and practice manager Tess Nolan spends his days diagnosing and treating dogs and cats on the Gold Coast, performing everything from pet CPR to x-rays and blood tests.

She frequently shares professional advice and tips for pet lovers and prospective owners, including dangerous mistakes everyone makes with their dog.

Tess recently shared that her “absolute favorite” dog breed is the Bernese Mountain Dog.

The breed is known for its calm temperament and gentle, giant nature.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are ideal for colder temperatures because they were originally bred as working dogs in their native Switzerland.

The breed is strong and athletic, and many use the dogs on farms to round up livestock or pull heavy loads in remote areas.

Bernese Mountain Dogs have a short lifespan and typically live six to eight years on average.

An animal expert also revealed that the breed is a type of “Velcro” dog.

“Bernese Mountain Dogs like to be close to their owners and can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for too long,” he said in a statement. video.

“They are perfect family dogs, my two-year-old Bernese gets along well with my little girl,” said one father.

“Bernese Mountain Dogs love to be close to their owners and can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for too long,” a pet expert revealed.

Many shared their adoration for beloved pets.

“Definitely my favorite breed,” said one. “There’s nothing cuter than a Bernese puppy.”

“I live in a snowy area and they are so perfect – such adorable, sweet dogs,” said another.

“I had two Bernese, I love them more than anything,” said a third. “I wish they lived longer.”
