Here, she reveals which supplements she takes specifically for longevity and brain and skin health.
NAD+
Dr. Enayat has NAD+ injections to boost energy levels and even strengthen the immune system.
NAD+ injections are believed to help combat age-related changes by stimulating the repair of damaged tissue and promoting the production of new, healthy cells, both in the skin and within the body.
It stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and the molecule is found in every cell in the body and is responsible for creating energy and maintaining cell health.

Dr. Enayat states that as we age, NAD+ levels in our bodies decrease.
He adds that there is a large amount of evidence showing that the decline begins from the age of 20.

‘NAD+ plays a very important role in cellular energy production and the activation of longevity proteins and pathways that help repair cells and tissues, including DNA,’ she told MailOnline.
The supplement, Dr. Enayat claims, helps your mitochondria (the powerhouse of cells that is vital for producing energy and a variety of bodily processes), which in turn can help your body produce more cellular energy and repair DNA better, making your cells “healthier.”
He chooses to have the supplement injected under the skin, but it is also available in pill form and as an intravenous drip, which he sells at his clinic from £250 a session.
He added: ‘I get a noticeable effect from receiving the injections, my concentration increases and I feel more energetic.
“For me it’s not just about longevity, it’s also about what makes me feel better in the short term.”
Magnesium
After screening hundreds of patients at his clinic and discovering that about 80 percent of them had low magnesium levels, he now includes it in their daily vitamin intake.
The metallic element found mainly in bones is essential for life.
You can get it from nutrient-dense foods such as nuts, seeds, mackerel, and bananas.
Dr. Enayat says taking it helps with bone and cognitive brain health.
She adds that low magnesium levels can be associated with “not sleeping well, nervousness, cramps and muscle spasms.”
Dr. Enayat added that magnesium is vital for bone mineral density and that a lack of it has been linked to weakening of the bones.
This is reflected in NHS advice, which says a magnesium test may be offered to someone who has symptoms including nausea, weakness, spasms, cramps and irregular heartbeat.
It has been shown to be key to brain, bone and heart health.
One 2019 studywhich followed more than 6,000 women over age 65 for 20 years, found that sufficient levels of magnesium were linked to a lower risk of developing mild cognitive impairment.

Protein powder and collagen
Protein is essential for the body to grow and repair itself.
That’s why Dr. Enayat includes it in his longevity supplements.
The body’s enzymes are all protein-based: they break down food, help replicate DNA, and destroy toxins in the liver.

Although it can be found in beans, legumes, fish, eggs and meat, the longevity expert says he takes it when he knows he’s not getting enough of it in his diet.

“I take a collagen protein powder, not every day, but particularly on days where I know nutritionally I’m going to be lower in protein,” she said.
“I alternate between different types of proteins,” he added.
‘For a while I’ll be taking beef collagen and collagen peptide protein and then I’ll be taking some split pea-based protein powder, which is very gentle on the digestive tract.
‘So if I’m doing any kind of muscle building, I’ll take some whey protein.’
He explains that he does this for three-month periods to avoid an “inflammatory response.”
“If you’re overexposed to certain things, over time you’ll develop a sensitivity to them. The sensitivity will trigger an inflammatory response, which will drain your energy and make you feel bad,” he said.
Dr. Enayat emphasizes that while these supplements are ideal for him, people should first have their blood tested to identify what nutrients their body needs before trying a variety of supplements.
