A woman who calls herself a “human cat” has revealed she has more than 72 piercings because it’s “the way she expresses herself”.
Chiara Dell’Abate, 22, from Rome, also known by the online pseudonym Aydin Mod, has a 1.6cm inner lip piercing, a pierced nose and upper lip piercings.
But despite being called ‘disturbed’ and ‘psychotic’ by trolls, she says she wants to ‘look like a cat’.
“I think I’d be a pretty cool cat lady,” she said.
Her dream began when people asked her if she dressed as a cat for Halloween, even though she didn’t intend to look like one.
Chiara Dell’Abate (pictured)’s dreams of becoming a human cat began on Halloween when people asked her if she was dressed as a cat – even though she wasn’t.

The Roman woman began her body modification journey at the age of 11 with ear piercing and stretching (pictured right Chiara before her more extreme modifications). Five years after her first body modification, the 22-year-old acquired 72 piercings
The extreme body modifier thinks she’s better suited to look like a feline than a cartoon.
She joked: “I’ve always loved cats and I think I’ll look really bold and fierce as a cat lady with the right body mods.”
In a bid to look more like a cat, the Italian has previously undergone blepharoplasty, a procedure that removes excess fat or skin from the eyelids.
Dell’Abate also had ten subcutaneous implants placed in his hands, as well as four horns and six genital beads.
She even had her nipples removed and had her eyeballs tattooed.
“It’s crazy how much the human body can change and what you can actually achieve with body modifications.”
Even though Dell’Abate has already made several changes to her appearance, including brow implants and permanent eyeliner, she still wants more.
In the future, she hopes to have a canthoplasty, to give her eyes a more almond shape, and she’s crossing her fingers that the micro-dermal tail will be attached to her body.

Chiara has had four horns as well as ten subcutaneous implants installed in her hands. The extreme body modifier has even more procedural plans in the works, including splitting his septum. She also hopes to have a micro-dermal tail attached to her body.
The extreme shapeshifter already has a breast augmentation and other inkings planned, as well as having her septum split.
She admitted the procedures were quite painful, Dell’Abate says it’s only temporary.
Even though the young Italian says her tattoos are a true form of self-expression and make her feel good, that doesn’t mean her unique look avoids the heat of criticism.
Haters flooded the comments of a TikTok video where Dell’Abate can be seen sticking his slit tongue out of the holes in his philtrum.
One reviewer asked, “What is going on in someone’s head that makes them think this is a good idea?”
A second wrote: “I have so many questions… none of which I really want to answer.” »

Although Chiara claims that her extreme edits are a form of “true self-expression,” many of her critics don’t view her edits in the same light.
While one joked: “When did your life go wrong? »
Another user added: “There is a huge difference between self-modification and mutilation. She was transformed into a monster.
Although the aspiring cat is often the target of hate, she alleged that not all of the comments were negative.
She said many tell her she is an inspiration and has helped change their perception of beauty.
