His revolutionary trick includes boiling a kettle, which is filled to the brim with water, and then pouring the contents onto the weeds.

The key aspects of this method are to let the water come to a full boil and then carefully pour it as close to the weeds as possible, slowly soaking the weeds completely.

You should repeat the method at the first sign of weeds reappearing in your driveway or patio.

But why does this simple trick work?

Simon Wardle, of Armstong Cheshire, said: “This specific method not only means your yard will end up weed-free, but it also ensures there will be no damage to your yard or the environment as there is no waste left behind.”

“You should start seeing results within minutes, as the boiling water breaks down the herb, and full results within hours.”

However, keep in mind that you should not use this method throughout the garden, only on the terrace or driveway.

If used on grass or soil, it could kill areas of your lush green space or even ruin your favorite plant.
