I’m a Five Guys super fan and my hack can get you a free cheeseburger

  • TikTok video shows how to get free toppings in the channel
  • He then explains how to wrap a second cheeseburger totally free
  • Five Guys tends to be a more expensive option than other fast food chains

A Five Guys superfan took to TikTok to explain how to get a completely free cheeseburger.

User HellthyJunkFood revealed a hack on how customers can buy a cheeseburger from the beloved fast food chain – and get another one.

A regular cheeseburger will cost customers an average of $7.69 – but the customization is one of the things that makes the brand particularly appealing.

Diners can choose from 15 free toppings, which they can combine as they see fit to create the meal of their dreams.

In the video, HellthyJunkFood explains how to take advantage of the free toppings to create your free cheeseburger.

“At Five Guys, a cheeseburger comes standard with two patties and all of their toppings are free,” HellthyJunkFood said in the video.

‘Next time you go to Five Guys, order a cheeseburger with all the toppings on the side and ask for an extra bun. The extra buns are free,” he explained.

“Now when you get home you’ll have all your toppings tucked away on the side, and with your extra bun you can dress both of your burgers just the way you want them.”

Although a beloved food chain, Five Guys tends to be a more expensive option than other fast food outlets.

A disgruntled woman was shocked when she had to pay $74 for an order, asking on TikTok “when did Five Guys become a five-star restaurant?”

User RetailCheapskate revealed in a video that has been viewed more than 2.9 million times that she had to shell out $74 for an order that included four burgers, two fries and drinks.

Her receipt stated that the woman ordered two “small” cheeseburgers, two regular fries, two bacon cheeseburgers, one large soda and three regular sodas.

Prices vary across the country, but a bacon cheeseburger would cost you up to $13.09 at a Times Square restaurant in New York, while regular fries are $6.69.

McDonald’s fries, on the other hand, tend to be around $3.

Earlier this year, the chain, which was founded in Arlington County, Virginia, in 1986, explained why its prices are higher than other fast food outlets.

Talk to The Rakyat postIain Ross-Mackenzie, Director of Operations-APAC at Five Guys International, explained that the fresh ingredients and the fact that customers can customize their orders to the extreme are some of the reasons behind the brand’s pricing.

He added that the company also specializes in providing an all-American experience, which is why its menu is the same all over the world.

“Customer choice is really important to us. We want to put the control back in the consumer’s pocket,” Ross-Mackenzie said.

The way the brand sources ingredients also increases the price at checkout. ‘Nothing in store is frozen. We only use fresh ingredients,” he explained.
