He’s a board-certified acute and chronic pain physician who resides in Germantown, MD, and explained how to make those love bites go away.

More recently, he detailed how you can use ice packs and a hot compress to get rid of any love bites, although he admitted he has never had any experience with hickeys.
He captioned the viral video, which has so far garnered over 2.1 million views, “In case anyone needs it.”
The doctor dueted a clip of two girls trying to remove a hickey by rubbing a whip across their necks.
He said: “If you find yourself in a situation where you need to get rid of a hickey, here’s what you need to know.”
‘The first 24 hours you will want to apply something cold like an ice pack or a cold spoon.
“The reason is that the blood vessels have ruptured and are leaking blood, so you want to make them vasoconstrictor or constrict them to prevent further leaks.”
Dr. Sood then noted that after 24 hours, if you still have bruises, you should move on to applying a warm compress.
“At this point, the blood vessels have already leaked the blood they are going to evacuate.
“Now you want all that blood away from the site, you’ll want to apply something warm,” he explained.
