Detailing the experience, Danny shared: ‘The team was amazing. That’s a really big piece of land you’re on. When you go to a test or a challenge or Deals On Wheels, you get in a van, it’s darkened, you have a towel over your head…

‘It’s almost like SAS! They almost captured you. It’s all a psychological issue, not letting you leave the camp, that’s what it’s all about. ‘

Danny then explained that the bosses employed the same tactic when the campmates’ loved ones visited them in the jungle, so it was a big surprise for them.

He said: ‘I thought it was a challenge that day. The guys were like, ‘Just walk in the bushes, mate, read the laminate and I was like, ‘Okay, cool.”

‘I walked through the bushes and my family was there, it was like the best surprise I’ve ever had in my entire life. Incredible.’

Harry informed him, “You looked absolutely ripped, that was a plus, you looked great.”

To which he responded: ‘Thanks man, I lost a little weight, I lost like 5 kilos.’
