The singer was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy in 2020, a neurological disorder that causes paralysis or weakness on one side of the face when the facial nerve is damaged or stops working properly.

Speaking on Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong It’s Right podcast this month, Tulisa admitted the problems were particularly bad when she reformed with her N-Dubz in 2022, ending her 11-year hiatus from the music scene with a new tour and the release of a single.
A doctor soon got to the cause after performing an ultrasound on his face and found “three chronically infected cysts” on his cheek, one of which burst during an “exploratory operation” because it was so bulbous.
Tulisa shared: ‘I have no idea what they were caused, they weren’t filler, they just happened on their own, but I came out of the operation and instantly my face was less swollen.
She added that after suffering her first attack of Bell’s palsy at age 24, she tried using fillers to “balance” her face, which locked her into a “vicious cycle.”
Two years passed where the condition was kept at bay, but he began to feel a ‘mild swelling’ in the same cheek, which increased rapidly.
