Matt Hancock is surrounded by snakes as he is buried alive as he faces the Deserted Down Under trial in the episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
In a preview for tonight’s episode, the former health minister, 44, faces his sixth consecutive trial in a bid to win meals for the camp.
It comes after viewers complained that the ITV program was turning into ‘the Matt Hancock show’, having been singled out for each trial and made camp leader.
FIRST WATCH: Matt Hancock is surrounded by snakes as he is buried alive as he faces the Deserted Down Under trial on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The first look shows Matt trapped in a chest underground, along with various snakes and insects, while Ant and Dec explain that he has 11 minutes to unlock 11 stars.
The MP has to reach his arms into small holes to find the keys, but seems rather frustrated with the difficult challenge.
You can hear him say, “Oh that’s a snake, I can’t find anything,” as Dec tells him to feel for them everywhere.
On Sunday, viewers were unimpressed after he was nominated to do his sixth consecutive Bushtucker Trial.

After the news was delivered by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Matt’s comrade Babatunde Aleshe stated: ‘You’re the man, you’re the man! You’ve done four tests, you’ve been stung by a scorpion and now you have to take this test!’
But fans claim it “gets boring” watching Matt do each trial and they’d love to see some of the other celebs do a trial.
On Twitter to express their annoyance, one person wrote: ‘Why do people keep voting for Matt Hancock to do trials? He loves the attention. He should be in Britain to do the job for which he was chosen. I’m A Celeb has now become the Matt Hancock show! Yes, of course!
“ImACeleb it’s time people left Matt Hancock alone, he’s done four tests and he’s still being bullied, leave it alone,” another wrote.
With some sympathy, another I’m A Celebrity fan wrote: ‘I’m starting to feel sorry for @MattHancock now, yes he’s made some big mistakes but now pass the trials on to someone else. Let them have the pressure! #ImACeleb.’

Another shared: ‘Funny how we complain about it, but I bet half of you don’t vote for anyone else, I agree it’s boring to watch him do every test because in the end he beats them! It’s not I’m A Celeb’s fault, but it’s us, if everyone groaned to vote for someone else, maybe we’d see someone else.”
“Seriously, this is getting boring now. Pick someone else to do the trials, let some of the moaners try it and see how far they get,” wrote another viewer.
