I’m a Harry Garside celebrity… Get me out of here! Australian co-stars have supported the boxer after he was cleared of all domestic violence charges.
The 25-year-old was arrested by police at Sydney airport in May after returning from South Africa where he was filming the Channel 10 reality show.
Now the young athlete appears to be celebrating with his co-stars after several contestants went out for dinner at Rick Shores in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast on Sunday night.
Aesha Scott, Domenica Calarco, Nathan Henry, Anna Polyviou and her friend, plus Adam Cooney and his wife Haylea were all in attendance.
Garside was all smiles next to the rest of the crew who dined at a long table in the hall.

Wearing his signature mullet, the Olympian wore a collared rugby polo shirt layered with a black and gray zip-up jumper.
During the festivities, he sat at a table next to his co-stars, sometimes sharing a private conversation with award-winning pastry chef Anna.
After the drunken dinner, a beaming Domenica was seen walking arm in arm with Aesha Scott as they left the venue.

May NSW Police stopped Garside, who won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, on his way to baggage claim and charged him with domestic violence allegations of assault against his former partner Ashley Ruscoe.
Ruscoe had accused him of assaulting her on Bellevue Hill in Sydney’s eastern suburbs between 4 and 7 pm on 1 March.

However, the domestic violence charge and accompanying domestic violence arrest warrant were formally withdrawn by the police prosecutor at a hearing at Downing Center local court in Sydney last Wednesday.
Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed that the “overwhelming evidence” clearing Garside of all wrongdoing was tapes of the incident which Ruscoe claimed turned violent.
In the middle of an argument with his ex-girlfriend, the famous boxer presses record on his phone.

The co-stars drank and dined at a long table in what appears to be their first reunion since the show aired
The footage and audio captured from those recordings eventually led to police withdrawing the domestic violence charges against Garside and proving his innocence.
After the charges were dropped, Garside posted a statement on his Instagram account.
“Today I was vindicated,” he wrote.
“A while ago the prosecutor of the police informed the court that they dropped all cases against me.

The group glowed as they left the seaside hotspot
“This was because my lawyers provided the recordings and communications that gave the police full insight into what was happening.
“Last month I returned from South Africa feeling motivated and optimistic about my future. What has happened since then has been personally devastating and a true test of my resilience.
“I will be eternally grateful for the love and support of my family and friends who have kept me strong and focused.”

Garside told reporters outside court that the charges took a ‘massive’ toll on him and his family, including his mother, who is battling cancer.
“She was almost more stressed about this than what she’s going through,” he explained out of court.
“At least now she can focus on herself and her well-being.”
Garside revealed that he was no longer in a relationship with Ruscoe, who appeared as a contestant on The Amazing Race in 2019, during his time on I’m a Celebrity.

He was in a relationship with the boxing and martial arts instructor for more than 18 months and was often snapped together by paparazzi.
But speaking to fellow campmates, Garside said he was thinking about staying single for a while.
Ruscoe is nine years older than Garside and the pair attended the GQ Awards together in November.
The 33-year-old began dating the Olympic boxer after splitting from her boyfriend and teammate on The Amazing Race, Sidney Pierucci, in 2019.

The boxer had taken a photo of him and his father before they fled South Africa and uploaded it to Instagram.
“Had to upgrade my best friend to do business with me. His first time flying business,” he wrote on the post.
The pair had been abroad for several weeks while Garside filmed for the Channel 10 reality show won by netball player Liz Ellis.
Garside won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in men’s lightweight boxing and has won seven Australian national boxing championships.
