I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! Australia has so far seen 12 celebrities descend into the South African jungle to battle it out to be crowned the 2024 winner.
And the latest round of celebrities taking on the grueling challenge has revealed whether they’ll be taking part in a specific tradition from the show.
Stars have talked about whether they would consider stripping naked in the outdoor shower, and one surprising celebrity admitted they would be up for it.
Last year, stars including Domenica Calarco, Aesha Scott, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and Harry Garside stripped naked to get into the shower in scenes broadcast on reality show Ten.
However, it looks like the 2024 cast won’t be following in their footsteps as they have vowed to boycott the naked jungle shower tradition.
The I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024 cast have revealed whether they will strip naked in the outdoor shower – and one surprising celebrity admitted they would be up for it.
Speaking before entering the jungle, said influencer Skye news.com.au: ‘No way (I’ll shower naked), my partner told me: ‘You’re a mother!’

Retired ironist Candice, 39, agreed and insisted she will stay comfortable in a swimsuit while showering on the TV show.
Former Studio 10 presenter Tristan, 41, seemed more open to the idea, before admitting he doesn’t even feel comfortable showering at home if his own children are in the bathroom.
But Denise Drysdale, 75, who entered the camp as a trespasser on Monday, was the only celebrity to reveal she might strip, having taken to showering outdoors while living in a caravan.
The contestants, including Skye Wheatley, admitted they had no plans to shower naked in the jungle and intended to remain covered.

“But if anyone can see me naked, I’ll probably scream, ‘I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here,'” she joked.

His campmate Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson also gave some insight into the protocol they had for naked showers in the jungle.
He explained how they would use their microphone packs and akubra hats as a signal to let the other stars know that the shower was busy.
‘If you leave your akubra face up with the microphone in it, at the point where you turn down to go towards the showers, it means that person is in the shower and you cannot go in there. That was the code,’ she said.
