The Loose Women presenter, 62, wasn’t afraid to share her thoughts after she was given a new task following a camp shake-up.

The episode saw a change in camp leaders after a public vote handed control of the contestants to Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan.

But the new order did not sit well with the journalist who described the couple as sexist and age discriminatory.

The McFly singer and the former boxer, in the role of new leaders, set out together to decide who should do what tasks in the camp.

After some deliberation, the couple decided that, among others, Jane should be washing the dishes alongside Tulisa, but after being told the news, Jane complained that she had been given that job because she was a woman.

At the beginning of the episode, the two left together to make plans.

Danny said, ‘Should we talk about chefs first? Obviously, Melvin and I can’t do that.

Barry then added: “Wood work should be done by someone who is strong and has good endurance.”

Danny later confessed that he was just trying to organize things to give the camp “the best chance to prosper.”

The pair then returned to the eager campmates and began revealing who had what task.

They began dishwashing duties and announced that Jane and Tulisa would supervise that at camp before Jane yelled, ‘Oh, what? Is it because we are women?’

Barry tried to justify the couple’s decision, explaining that since Jane was 62 and a year younger than him, he might want something less strenuous, but before he could finish, Jane retorted, “How ageist and sexist! “.
