Adam Woodyatt will show a whole new side of himself on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Thursday night.

The EastEnders legend, 53, teased his anticipated castle entrance with a series of Instagram videos, wowing fans with his toned physique.

Adam, who has played Ian Beale on EastEnders since 1985, looked a world away from his character as he teased his worst fears ahead of his show debut alongside fellow latecomer, Simon Gregson of Coronation Street.

While filming a series of videos during his mandatory two-week isolation before entering the castle on Wednesday, Adam revealed that he was afraid of everything.

‘That realization that you have to deal with all the critters, rodents, snakes, spiders, challenges. You don’t know what to expect. It suddenly makes it a bit more real,’ he admitted.

“I’ve been pretty calm about it the whole time and now I’m suddenly starting to get a little worried.”

“I don’t think I can name one biggest fear. It’s about how I overcome them and try not to squeak like Ian Beale,’ he joked.

Adam also filmed him getting ready to leave his isolation cottage in another fun video, sharing tweets from fans desperate to know when he was entering the castle.

He was then filmed leaving his cottage and saying to the camera, ‘Take me in.’

‘He looks great! Took care of itself,” one fan tweeted in response. ‘OMG! Is that Ian? Looks soooo different, fantastic!’ another agreed.

Last year, Adam revealed that his incredible weight loss journey was inspired by his friend and EastEnders co-star Jake Wood.

The actor took to Instagram while enjoying a bike ride as he revealed that it was his friend who pushed him to improve his fitness by exercising regularly.

As he shared a message of appreciation to Jake on his bike, Adam said, “As my buddy Mr. Wood says, ‘You’ve got to get out. You’ve got to do it.’ He’s going for a run and I’m going to ride a bike.’

Adam has also admitted that he was embarrassed by EastEnders fans who saw him in person.

Recalling a particularly painful experience, he told The Sun: ‘One of the best examples of rude behavior is when we were on the BBC Good Food show.

“This woman looks at me and says, ‘You’re fatter than on TV.'”

During the first trial of Adam and Simon Gregson, which airs Thursday night, the two go head-to-head in a series of gruesome matches at the Castle Scare Fair.

In the Queen of the Castle challenge, Simon and Adam’s heads are locked in boxes while snakes surround them. Using only their mouths, the actors must unleash stars to win meals for the camp.

While their camp mates watch the duo go to work, she is urged by the other celebs to “use your tongue.”
