The trial called for one of the celebrities to lie down in a cage, while the other had to get keys from a cage of snakes.

Each key unlocked a box full of critters that had to be opened on the floor above the celebrity.

Some boxes contain stars to earn food for the camp, while others contain only critters.

Kadeena chose to face the snakes, which allowed Louise to crawl into the cage.

A nervous Louise said, “Good luck to anyone who listens to me, but you’ll be fine.”

Kadeena admitted, “Lou, I love you, but I’m going to chuckle and run.”

As soon as the horn sounded, the gold medalist darted into a room where she released the keys as slippery snakes made their way across a wall of planks.

Ant laughed: ‘Are you talking to me? Only a lot of people tell me that.’

The pair worked well together and won all 10 stars with just a minute left.

Afterwards, a brave Kadeena said, “I’ve been trying to just find that sport mode. I didn’t even think about those snakes.’

Meanwhile, Sunday night saw Arlene Phillips become the first celebrity to be eliminated from the camp.

The public vote meant the choreographer, 78, was packed into camp after 13 days, leaving her emotional camp mates in Gwrych Castle.

When Ant and Dec asked how she was feeling at her goodbyes, Arlene, the oldest celebrity in the show’s history to participate, said: “Relieved, but emotional because of everything this has been.”

After explaining to the show’s long-running hosts that the venture was for her granddaughters, she added, “It brings out a lot of emotion and makes you think about your life.”

In response to the classic ‘who do you want to win’ question, the former Strictly Come Dancing jury named DJ Naughty Boy.

Eliminations usually start after 10 days, but the format has changed after Richard Madeley’s abrupt departure.

The series was also temporarily taken off the air due to Storm Arwen, much to the dismay of viewers.
