A makeup artist missing some of her top teeth has wowed fans with her incredible ‘catfish’ beauty transformation and has even been compared to Mariah Carey.

Edmonton’s Sarah Andres, who goes by @lashesandlosing on TikTok, recently shared a video for her 747,700 fans, showing how she transformed herself in her home makeup studio.

Suddenly, all visible pores vanished from the self-taught makeup artist’s skin in the pictures, and she traded in her animal-print robe and casual ponytail for a dressier outfit: a soft, plunging-neck dress with Mariah Carey-styled locks.

Fans were quick to point out her uncanny resemblance to the award-winning singer. Though it’s unclear if this was Sarah’s intention, the talented TikToker welcomed the comparison in the comments.

However, some supporters weren’t as kind as one warned: ‘Scary guys? You never know.’

The video showing her resemblance to the Always Be My Baby singer has been flooded with dozens of comments praising the beauty influencer, who lost two of her upper front teeth in an incident on a quad bike.

Some begged Sarah to give them a full makeup tutorial, with several describing her transformation as “incredible.”

Proud of her talent, she wasn’t afraid to acknowledge her stunning transformation, even going so far as to call herself ‘#catfish’ for her 747,700 fans to see.

However, while the self-taught makeup artist has amassed 8.4 million likes on the social media platform, not all of the comments were positive.

Some were skeptical that makeup was her only help, with one viewer claiming that the TikTok sensation “uses a filter to cover her nasolabial folds.”

Another, who appeared to be a man, criticized a Canadian woman, saying: ‘Until you wake up next to them in the morning.’

But many came out in defense of the influencer, assuring her that “the haters are jealous.”

‘I think you’re great at what you do. Makeup application is flawless,” wrote one fan.

The TikToker, who hails from Edmonton in eastern Canada, often wows fans with her makeup transformations, using before and after frames to show what a stark difference can be achieved through the power of makeup.

It comes after a 47-year-old Kansas woman caused an uproar after posted a video showing off her natural beauty versus what she looks like when she has a full glam face.

The mother-of-one ‘Queen of Catfish’ can also drastically alter her appearance using products like concealer, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, and lipstick, and many people on the internet can’t believe she’s the same person in all of her videos.
