A daughter who looks almost identical to her mother has revealed that people think she had plastic surgery to look like her.
Florida’s Dawn and Cher Hubsher often make waves due to their striking similarities.
The couple, aged 64 and 34 respectively, have long dark hair, the same facial features and often play on their similarities by also wearing the same clothes.
In fact, they look so similar that even their husbands have a hard time telling them apart.
Cher’s husband, Jared Gopman, once slapped Dawn on the butt in an embarrassing case of mistaken identity, despite the 30-year age difference between mother and daughter.
Now Cher has been accused of going under the knife in a bid to look more like her mother.
“As I’ve gotten older, I think I’m becoming more like my mother,” said content creator Cher.
‘Some people even think I’ve had plastic surgery or work done to look like her. I promise, I haven’t.

The mother-daughter duo have long dark hair and share similar facial features.
Cher’s husband Jared is a qualified plastic surgeon, so it’s understandable that people don’t exactly believe her when she denies these claims.
She said: “At least I know what I will be like in 30 years and if I age as well as my mother, there will be no need for me to ever go under the knife.”
The duo’s image has earned them a total of 290,000 fans on Instagram and they have even started a podcast called Chattermouth where they release episodes every #twinTuesday.
Cher was 16 years old when people started comparing her to her mother.
She said: “People often compare how I looked at 16 to how I look now, assuming I’ve had plastic surgery because I look different, but 18 can bring a lot of changes.”
Cher explained that her hair used to be dyed blonde, so she didn’t look as much like Dawn.
She continued: ‘Now that I’m back to my natural hair colour, the resemblance is much stronger.
“People assume that because we look so much alike, there must be plastic surgery, but really it’s just strong genetics.”
Many claim Cher underwent plastic surgery to look like her mother, a difficult accusation to overcome when her husband Jared (left) is a qualified plastic surgeon.
Cher believes she was 16 when people started comparing her to her mother.
He added: “Don’t get me wrong, I think my mother is absolutely beautiful, but I’m not going to spend thousands and thousands of dollars just to look exactly like her.”
“Anyway, I’m doing a good job and it’s all free.”
Dawn and Cher are often mistaken for sisters (or twins) and has caused some embarrassing confusions.
In addition to the embarrassing butt-smacking incident, Cher’s friends sometimes get confused and most of the time don’t realize who they’re talking to.
Cher said: ‘People mistake us for sisters all the time. One time, my mother’s friend was talking to her thinking she was me.
And she has even surprised the mother-daughter duo on a few occasions.
Cher said, “Sometimes we see a photo of each other and convince ourselves that it’s the other person.” It totally scares us.
‘Somehow, as time goes by, we naturally become more like each other.
‘My friends love hanging out with her and I think it’s because if you like me, you’ll definitely love my mom.
“We are very similar in every way, not only because we look alike, but because we also speak and act very similar.”
Dawn and Cher are often mistaken for sisters (or twins) and this has led to some embarrassing mix-ups.
Cher said: ‘People mistake us for sisters all the time. One time, my mother’s friend was talking to her thinking she was me.’
The mother-daughter duo is so close that Cher invited Dawn to her bachelorette party because she “looked so young and acted young.”
The duo’s incredibly close bond even earned them a starring role on the TLC reality series sMothered, which documents the sometimes-too-close relationships between mothers and daughters.
In the hit reality series, Dawn insisted on accompanying her daughter to a breastfeeding lesson with a lactation specialist, using a doll to practice the same techniques Cher was being taught.
Cher, who also appeared on My Super Sweet 16 in 2007, added: “I always say I’m so lucky to have a mom and a best friend at the same time.”
“We have a lot of fun together and we get along very well.”
