The submission of the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) claims that Omar & # 39; and its campaign have violated the prohibition on the personal use of campaign funds by compensating Tim Mynett for his political advisor for his trip in 2019. & # 39;
NLPC Chairman Peter Flaherty said that advisory fees paid to Mynett from Omar & # 39; s campaign fund can be considered illegal if & he does not do the job & # 39 ;.
Flaherty added to the New York Post: & # 39; And we ask the FEC to conduct an investigation to determine the nature and level of his work product. & # 39;
Mynett's E Street Group company is on Omar's payroll and provides fundraising and strategy.
He previously worked as the national finance director of former Congressman Keith Ellison in Minnesota, whose seat Omar took over when he applied for Attorney General.
Records from the Federal Election Commission show that the Omar team started paying Mynett's DC-based company in August 2018, by the end of 2018 $ 62,500.
Payments continued until 2019, with $ 5,000, $ 10,000 and $ 12,000 chunks peeled each month, a little over $ 253,000 in one year.

On Tuesday, Mynett & # 39; s wife Beth, 55, accused her much younger husband of having an affair with Omar, and also revealed her fears that romanticism could have continued over the last year in the nine page & # 39; s divorce application obtained by DailyMail.com.
Beth, who has a 13-year-old son with Mynett, describes in the newspapers how her cheating partner made a & # 39; shocking declaration of love & # 39; traveled for the left fire department.
He would also have brought their son to formally meet Omar at the Mynett family's favorite restaurant in Washington, DC, when the reproductive health expert was out of town.
Although she was mentioned in the divorce proceedings at Mynetts, Omar continued to evade questions about her confused private life.
She denied being divorced from her husband Ahmed Hirsi and then refused to comment further on & # 39; personal affairs & # 39 ;, according to Esme Murphy, a reporter at Minneapolis. WCCO TV.
& # 39; I have no interest in continuing the conversation about my personal life and therefore I do not want to discuss it. & # 39;
She also refused to confront claims that she married her brother for immigration purposes.
& # 39; I know who I am, & # 39; said Omar. & # 39; The people I love know who I am and what I care about. I have three beautiful little children and a family to look after, so for me I focus on the work that I am destined to do. & # 39;
Mynett's confession ended his seven-year marriage with Beth abruptly and the former spouses will meet in October at the Supreme Court of the D.C. to cancel divorce conditions.
Beth's lawyers are expected to tell the court how her cheating husband is putting their son & # 39; in danger & # 39; by exposing him to the media backlash and death threats Omar received because of her comments about Israel and her controversial feud with President Donald Trump.
Rejection Beth Mynett (pictured with her now estranged husband) reveals fears that her husband's case could have been under way in the nine-page divorce petition of DailyMail.com over the past year.
The congresswoman sat down with WCCO-TV on Tuesday, but refused to answer questions about her personal life
Mynett recently had only & # 39; sporadic & # 39; involvement with the couple's 13-year-old son because of his frequent work assignments with Omar, the submitting states.
& # 39; On closer inspection, the more recent journey of the suspect and his long working hours seem to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar that are actual work obligations, on average 12 days a month away from home in the past year, & # 39; it claims.
Beth says her marriage collapsed in April when veteran democrat Mynett announced that he & # 39; was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar & # 39 ;.
& # 39; Although devastated by the betrayal and deception that preceded his abrupt statement, the plaintiff told the defendant that she loved him and was willing to fight for the marriage, & # 39; explains the divorce file.
& # 39; However, the defendant told her that this was not an option for him. He gave no other explanation for his sudden change of heart. & # 39;
Beth attacks her husband's judgment for taking their son to formally meet Omar for dinner at the family's favorite neighborhood restaurant in DC while out of town.
She describes how Omar gave the boy a gift and was then even invited to Mynett's marital home.
Mynett went to an event with Omar the following night, but never came home, Beth claims.
& # 39; The most troubling thing is that the suspect has put his son at risk by lashing him out in public with Rep. Omar, who at the time had gathered an abundance of media attention along with death threats, a murderer who arrested the known would be a murderer that same week. & # 39;
That seems to be a reference to a New York man who was arrested by federal agents in April for threatening to put a bullet in the skull of (Omar) & # 39 ;.
Photos show that Mynett and Omar are constantly together during events and traveling together to Los Angeles, New York City, Austin and Seattle. Mynett has met Omar & # 39; s daughter Isra, 16, even photographed together twice. Pictured: Omar, Mynett and Isra in Los Angeles on July 15
Beth was stunned to hear the news, but still told Mynett that she loved him and was willing to fight for the marriage. Mynett, however, insisted that it was over. Pictured: Mynett with his estranged wife in 2016, post on Instagram: & # 39; Can you believe she married me? & # 39;
Beth says she is not just a & # 39; dedicated & # 39; was a woman, but also the primary breadwinner during their marriage, and complained that Mynett had dumped her and left the marital home just when he was there to generate considerably more income through his growing business.
She also claims that Mynett has a & # 39; history of emotional instability that makes him easily angry and furious & # 39 ;.
Beth says he threatened to insult her, damage her career, & # 39; and to stop supporting her financially if she brought him to court, and added: & # 39; The bullying tactics of the suspect are disappointing but not surprising.
The estranged woman wants primary custody of their son, child support, and full ownership of their three-bed marital family home in northern DC, worth $ 900,000.
DailyMail.com started investigating the rumors after the married & # 39; Squad & # 39; member Omar was handed over in March to a remote Italian restaurant outside of Los Angeles with a mysterious man in a remote Italian restaurant.
A source that took video of the & # 39; date & # 39; DailyMailTV told: “He seemed very protective to her, it was not a random person. It just felt like they were close. & # 39;
In January, Mynett posted an image on his Instagram of Omar & # 39; s nameplate outside her convention office and wrote: & # 39; It was a great trip. Incredibly proud of this fearless woman. & # 39;
Omar, through her spokesperson Jeremy Slevin – repeatedly refused to comment on DailyMail.com's question if they had an affair.
That came just weeks after DailyMailTV broke the news that she had divorced her husband Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children, and moved to a luxury penthouse apartment in the Mill District of Minneapolis.
When asked to confirm the split, Hirsi (39) said: & # 39; Wow. I cannot comment on that. I'm sorry, I just can't say anything. & # 39;

Although she was mentioned in the divorce proceedings at Mynetts, Omar continued to evade questions about her confused private life. She denied being divorced from her husband Ahmed Hirsi and then declined to comment on & # 39; personal affairs & # 39;

Omar denies that she has separated herself from Hirsi
It was the second time that Hirsi and Omar split up after she originally left him to marry another man, Ahmed Elmi.
Omar has been accused of having married only to allow Elmi – a British citizen – to enter the United States where he studied at North Dakota State University.
Political enemies have even claimed that Elmi is in fact her brother, an accusation that Omar refused to discuss.
Meanwhile, Mynett left his marital home after dumping Beth and now lives in a luxury residential complex in the trendy Petworth district of DC, where a two-bedroom apartment costs around $ 3,000 a month.
When DailyMail.com approached him there, the experienced politician initially refused to confirm his identity and said: & # 39; This is bizarre, I don't know what you are talking about. & # 39;
When we spoke to him a second time when he was stuck in a bright blue Ford Mustang, Mynett told our reporter: & # 39; No comments. & # 39;
His rental cushion is about a ten-minute drive from where he previously lived with his wife Beth, his eldest 17 years old, their young son and Beth's daughter from a previous marriage.
Beth, who is medical director of the DC Department of Corrections, was reluctant to talk about her husband's alleged infidelity. They married in 2012.
& # 39; I have no comments at this time, & # 39; she said to DailyMail.com, talking about the front step of the marital family home with three beds in northern DC, worth $ 900,000.
