Ilhan Omar had no patience or goodwill for a pro-Israel protester who told her, “Go to Gaza, honey.”

Omar has been accused of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment during her time in Congress, and was even kicked out of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Since the October 7 terror attack on Israeli soil, which killed more than a thousand innocent civilians, Omar has lobbied for cuts in military aid to Israel and a ceasefire between the Jewish state and Hamas.

On Wednesday, she was confronted by protesters near Capitol Hill who heckled her about her anti-Israel views, with one telling her, “Go to Gaza, honey.”

Omar’s response was short and blunt: “F**k you!”

The protests came from the pro-Israel group US Betar, which had interrogated Omar as she walked from her office to an elevator.

‘Why are you supporting Hamas? Why not condemn Hamas? Do you like Hamas and Hezbollah?’

After Omar’s vulgar response, she immediately gets into the elevator and the doors close.

Betar US made an equally spicy response, including a joke about pagers, and asked Omar why she called the police.

DailyMail.com has contacted a spokesperson for Congressman Omar for comment.

Omar survived a primary challenge earlier this year and easily cruised to reelection in Minnesota’s 5th District.

With the victory, Omar avoided the same fate as two of her progressive Squad colleagues who have been ousted in recent months: Reps. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., and Cori Bush, D-Mo.

Pro-Israel groups have not poured the large donations behind Samuels that they did for Bush and Bowman’s challengers, Wesley Bell and George Latimer.

Omar, the first Somali-American elected to Congress, took her seat in 2018 when she won with more than 70 percent of the vote. She was one of the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, along with Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.

After the outbreak of war in Gaza, the typically united Democrats in the House of Representatives have been torn over the issue of Israel.

Omar is a favorite target of Republicans. In 2019, she was forced to apologize for saying AIPAC and Jewish people were trying to buy influence: “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby.”

This year, Republicans were shocked when she said some Jewish students were “pro-genocide.”

“I think it’s really unfortunate that people don’t care about the fact that all Jewish children should be kept safe, and that we don’t have to tolerate anti-Semitism or bigotry for all Jewish students, whether they be pro-genocide or anti-genocide are. – genocide,” she said.

In January, House GOP Whip Tom Emmer demanded an ethics investigation into reports that Omar said she is “Somalia first.”

Bush, meanwhile, had faced stiff opposition for her pro-Palestinian stance.

“Wesley Bell’s victory and Cori Bush’s defeat underscore what we’ve seen in races across the country and throughout this election cycle – being pro-Israel is not just smart policy, it’s smart politics,” said Mark Mellman, president of the Democratic Majority. for Israel PAC, in a statement.

Like Bush’s race against Bell, Bowman’s race in New York revolved around a key issue: the war between Israel and Hamas.

Bowman, a fellow member of the Squad (at least for now before he leaves Congress this winter), fiercely defended the Palestinians and labeled Israeli actions “genocide.”

His reward for repeatedly attacking the Jewish nation’s wartime behavior: a pro-Israel SuperPAC coming after him.

AIPAC, a pro-Israel political group, has spent massively on Bowman and pumped millions upon millions into the campaign of a local county executive.

With the group’s support, Westchester County Executive Latimer, a moderate Democrat, easily sailed to a victory in the primary, capturing more than 59 percent of the vote, compared to Bowman’s 40 percent.
