A man died after being shot by police during a drug raid at a rural motel.
Officers arrived at the Country View Motel in Ilbilbie, south of McKay, on Monday morning to carry out the targeted drug operation. Around 11 a.m. shots were fired.
Several paramedics were present at the scene and performed CPR on the man shortly after, however, he died at the scene.
He was the only person treated by paramedics.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that investigations into the incident are ongoing.

This is the fourth police shooting in the region in the last 17 months.
More recently, police shot and killed David Dowker, 56, who police said was wielding a cane knife and approached two officers after they ordered him to drop the knife.
Two 24-year-old men were shot dead by police in separate incidents in October and November 2022.
