The 50-year-old actor and world-class DJ looked in high spirits as he made his appearance at the MEDUZA & Friends pool party during Miami Music Week.
Focusing on the job at hand, Idris opted for an all-black ensemble with a simple T-shirt and jeans.
Offering a selection of hip hop and R&B hits, the Wire star danced along to his set.

Sabrina looked resplendent in the tight number, and she brushed her dark hair back into a low bob.
She sported a natural makeup palette, enhancing her natural beauty and adding just a touch of lip gloss.
Sabrina completed her ensemble with silver spike earrings and a collection of gold bracelets.
The couple arrived in Miami early last week, for Ultra Music Festival, which kicked off Friday in downtown Miami.
Idris already acted on Thursday as ‘special guest’ performing with Diplo at E11EVEN Miami.
On Friday, they got their weekend off to a relaxing start when they hit the beach.

Idris stepped out in a gray t-shirt and light green pants with black sunglasses for the beach outing.
She was carrying a blue beach bag that was slung over her shoulder, with a drink in the other hand.
The actor completed his look with flip flops with a red and green stripe, while complementing with a black watch.
His wife Sabrina, whom he married in 2019, stepped out in a stunning sleeveless red and white dress that hit her calves.
Her short black hair fell just above her chin as she accessorized with a black handbag, gold watch, and silver bracelet.
She also wore a pair of black flip flops for her beach day while charging her phone while walking on the sand with her husband.
The release comes just weeks after Elba collaborated with British DJ/producer Solardo on a new track titled Big Talk.
The song was released on March 3 via Ultra Records, and the British DJ duo revealed how they met the actor/DJ.

“We met Idris in Las Vegas in 2017 where we played back to back at EDC, we hit it off and kept in touch,” the statement began.
“We heard Idris on a track and saw him play a few sets, and since we’re big fans, we thought it would be great to do a track together,” they added.
“Overall, it probably took a year or so to go back and forth with ideas that reflected our styles,” they clarified.
The DJs insisted: ‘We wanted the track to sit in the underground market and make it a bit more accessible to the general public. I think we did that with Big Talk and now we can’t wait to launch it!’
Last summer while promoting his new movie Beast on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Idris showed off his unique skills.
Fallon asked the accomplished DJ to put his skills to the test and reveal which songs would be perfect to play in a variety of situations.
The first thing was getting dumped, which he said was Mark Morrisson’s The Return of the Mack, while suggesting Luther Vandross’s If This World Were Mine to someone who wanted to propose.
When asked what she would play to “get her spirits up” possibly for a big job interview, she started to sing “Let me reintroduce myself” from Jay-Z’s PSA… but Fallon thought she was singing The Humpty Dance.
When asked what would be the last song he would play before the venue closed, he revealed that he would play Party Up (Up In Here) by DMX.
