An Idaho man appeared in court on Tuesday accused of shooting dead his four neighbors after he got angry at the family’s teenage son who performed a sex act in full view of a window.
Majorjon Kaylor, 31, who has a ‘wild’ tattoo above his eyebrow, reportedly told police he ‘lost it’ and acted to protect his three young children.
On Sunday night, he had a falling out with the teenager’s mother, Kenna Guardipee, 41.
She lived in Kellogg, Idaho, with her sons Devin Smith, 18, and Aiken, 16, as well as her father Kenneth Guardipee, 65.

Kaylor, a 31-year-old minor, appeared in court in Wallace, Idaho on Tuesday, charged with shooting dead his four neighbors on Sunday night

Kaylor is charged with the murder of (left to right) Kenneth Guardipee, 65; his grandson Devin Smith, 18; Devin’s mother, Kenna Guardipee, 41; and her 16-year-old son, Aiken
Five days before the shooting, police were called to the Guardipee’s home after Kaylor reported that Devin Smith exposed himself to his wife, Kaylie, and daughter.
Smith’s family friend, Katy James, said The Spokesperson’s Review that Devin Smith had a learning disability and struggled socially, but got help through a program at school.
A classmate, Daisy Sawyer, told the newspaper that he bullied her at school and was known to be inappropriate.
Kaylor returned home from working in a mine on Sunday evening and confronted Kenna Guardipee, angry that her son was not being punished further for his actions.
Kaylor then shot the mother in the head, as well as her father and two sons.
Police responded to reports of shots being fired at a duplex at 515 W. Brown Ave around 7:20 p.m. Sunday.
Shortly after the first call, a second call reported that someone had “executed their neighbors”, according to court documents.

Investigators found a .45 caliber Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol with what appeared to be blood on it in a truck parked in the driveway of the duplex, according to court documents obtained by The Spokesman-Review.
Kaylor told police he was ‘broken’ and ‘lost’ during the argument, saying he had spoken to Kenna Guardipee and his father but was upset they didn’t seem not take his concerns seriously.
His wife told investigators he “said he did what he had to do and told their children he protected them.”
She added that she had heard him say that he had killed four people.
A GoFundMe has been launched for Kaylie and the three children by Kaylor’s brother, Buddy.
“I’m trying to raise money for my sister-in-law and 3 young children to rent groceries and living necessities after a tragic event,” Buddy Kaylor wrote.
“After enduring unthinkable and ongoing sexual harassment from a neighbor, the current situation has left my brother in jail and all three children and mom without a provider, thank you for your donations, all help.”
Kaylor could face the death penalty or life in prison if convicted.
He also faces a separate burglary charge, and police say he has a ‘sparse and sporadic’ criminal history for drug abuse, assault and traffic offences, according to KXLY4 News.

On Tuesday, Kaylor appeared in court in Wallace, Idaho – 50 miles east of Coeur d’Alene – in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs.
Prosecutor Benjamin Allen said Kaylor confessed to the shooting during a police interview.
“A confession was eventually made to the offenses charged,” Allen said.
Allen said the murders were carried out in a “horrific way”.
Magistrate Judge Keisha Oxendine did not set bail and Kaylor will continue to be held in jail. Another hearing has been set for July 3.
