An anti-vaccination doctor is being sued in Idaho over allegations that he misdiagnosed a woman with endometrial cancer that led to her undergoing painful surgery to remove her uterus and ovaries.
The woman, who wants to be referred to as JB to protect her medical privacy, went to the nurse practitioner over concerns about bleeding from menstrual problems.
Doctor Ryan Cole, a pathologist, allegedly diagnosed her with the rare, aggressive form of the cancer in July 2021 after sending a biopsy from her body to a lab he owned in the Boise area.
Then she underwent surgery to remove her reproductive organs and the surrounding abdominal tissue.
But three pathologists at the hospital examined the tissue as it was removed and saw no cancer. Then they looked at the initial biopsy samples from Cole’s lab and found that they showed no sign of cancer either, meaning the dangerous and painful surgery the woman underwent was completely pointless.
A medical malpractice lawsuit filed in Ada County on Wednesday accuses Cole, a member of America’s anti-cleansing organization Doctors Frontline, of negligence and other damages, According to the Idaho Capital Sun.
JB and her husband are seeking damages and damages in excess of $25,000 on each of the three charges Cole has been charged. The lawsuit alleges that the woman’s insurance covered much of the treatment she received, but that she still incurred heavy out-of-pocket costs.

Cole has made a name for himself with his views against Covid vaccines and is a member of America’s Frontline Physicians, a group known for misinformation about COVID-19.
After Cole’s diagnosis, she was referred to oncologists and gynecologists and consulted with a gynecologic oncologist at Saint Luke’s Health System on July 20, 2021.
The suit says, “At that time and relying on Dr. Cole’s pathology report, Dr. Perez discussed various treatment options with (JB) including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.”
JB chose to undergo surgery to remove the cancerous cells and the surgeon removed her uterus, removed both her ovaries and fallopian tubes, and the tissue and lymph nodes in her abdomen.
Three pathologists at the hospital examined the tissue as it was being removed and saw no cancer.
The surgeon then requested biopsy samples from Cole’s lab in early August and the three pathologists determined that JB had never had cancer.
“The misdiagnosis of cancer caused her to undergo unnecessary surgery and the resulting pain and suffering from such surgery,” the lawsuit said.
“The misdiagnosis of cancer sent[the couple]a huge emotional shock into believing she had cancer and then being told she didn’t have cancer.”
Eric Rossman of Rossman Law Group, one of the two Boise law firms representing JB and her husband in the case, said: ‘I can’t even imagine receiving that kind of diagnosis from someone and then spending that amount of time wondering — or knowing, or believing. That you have very serious cancer.
“And then only to find out, after such a radical, comprehensive procedure, that there is no cancer at all.”
It took JB six weeks to recover from the physical impact of the surgery and she was basically stuck on the second floor of their home because it was too painful to go up and down the stairs.
Her husband said she suffered “internal shock and great pain” and that the couple had left pockets from the surgery.
The lawsuit accuses Cole of negligence and calls his behavior “reckless and outrageous … constitutes a severe deviation from reasonable standards of conduct” with “its potential consequences being understood or ignored.”
It also states that Cole Diagnostics, where Cole is CEO and Chief Medical Officer, is responsible for its actions.
Both Cole and his clinic are accused of negligence in causing emotional distress including ‘extreme mental anguish’ that caused JB to develop ‘severe and chronic insomnia, anxiety, fear of doctors, and severe headaches’ and her husband’s insomnia and anxiety.

Cole has previously said that COVID-19 vaccines can cause cancer or autoimmune diseases — though there is no evidence for his claims.

The Washington State Medical Commission charged him with violating standards related to COVID-19 and patient care in January
She and her husband are seeking damages, and the amount will be decided in court but will be more than $25,000 for each of the three counts, according to the lawsuit.
They are also seeking compensation for money they spent on medical bills resulting from a misdiagnosis.

About two weeks after misdiagnosing JB with endometrial cancer, Cole told a meeting of American Frontline Physicians in San Antonio, Texas, “I’ve seen a 10- to 20-fold increase in uterine cancer in the last six months in my lab.”
“In the past six months. When did we start imaging? January? How much increase in solid tumor cancer will we see over the next several years? Probably a lot.”

Cole, who is licensed in Washington state as a physician and surgeon, made false and misleading statements related to the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccines, treatments, and masks, according to the charge sheet.
The commission said his public statements about COVID-19 “were harmful and dangerous to individual patients, generated mistrust in the medical and public health profession, and had a widespread negative impact on the health and well-being of our communities.”
He said last month that those being vaccinated were receiving a “highly contaminated product” and that public health officials had lied and “killed many”.
If you’re infected, we now know why. If coerced, you have received a severely contaminated product,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Public health has completely lied and you should completely lose your confidence.” No quality control at all. They killed a lot. Failed gene injection product. If you believe them….
