Season 2 was even more incredible in the eyes of critics, as it is one of only two seasons of Gossip Girl to have a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘The pleasures of Gossip Girl don’t have to be guilty. This melodrama is not great television art, nor even mediocre; but it’s ridiculous, ridiculous and funny,” wrote one critic for the Boston Globe.

Unfortunately, the final season of the show didn’t receive as much praise and more than one critic thought it needed some improvements.

‘With age comes wisdom? Whoever said that should have passed the memo on to the Gossip Girl gang, because after six seasons,” one critic wrote in a 2012 review for Entertainment Weekly.
