Jonathan Louis, 24, a technology sales representative, is a practicing Christian who believes that “your body is a temple and that in marriage a man and a woman give their bodies to each other.”
Before meeting his now-fiancee, content creator Naya Ford, 23, at church in 2022, Jonathan was three years sober — something his future wife was more than happy to continue to support.
Jonathan proposed to Naya in May 2023 and the couple plan to get married in 2025 – but will continue to abstain from sex to this day.
Knowing how special this moment will be for them both, Jonathan hits the gym every day and follows a rigorous lifestyle regimen to ensure he is in the best shape of his life before his wedding night.

New York couple Jonathan Louis, 24, and Naya Ford, 23, are abstaining until their wedding planned for 2025.

The two prepare for their big honeymoon night by hitting the gym regularly to build up their stamina and body confidence.
He consumed supplements said to help him in the bedroom and increase libido, such as sea moss, horny goat weed, maca root, and ashwagandha.
He also did exercises such as hip thrusts and squats to hit all the right muscle groups so he knows he’ll be good on their wedding night.
As well as cardio to “not run out of breath”.
Although they haven’t set a date yet, they plan to get married in 2025, followed by a honeymoon in Southeast Asia or Greece.
Even though it’s still been over a year, Jonathan wants his first night with Naya, a full-time influencer, to check all the boxes.
“As Christians, we believe that your body is a temple and that in marriage a man and a woman give their bodies to each other,” he explained.
“So I want to give her my best and make sure she likes what she sees.
“I believe the first time will be an experience, with all the excitement of wedding planning and getting married.
“Our first night will be the icing on the cake!”

Jonathan exercises four to five times a week to “build stamina and stamina” and “keeps his load (weight) between 60 and 70 percent with high lower body volume.”

Her gym workouts include lunges to “increase blood flow to the pelvic region” and “hamstring strength and flexibility”; and hip thrusts to “strengthen the glutes, abs, hips and pelvic floor”

“I do it to respect her (Naya) but more importantly for Jesus, to whom I dedicated my abstinence before meeting her,” Jonathan said.
Naya added: “I also went to the gym to get ready and Jonathan helped me.
“For me, it’s as much preparing for the wedding day as it is preparing for the honeymoon – I have to look beautiful in my dress.
“But I’m also looking forward to our first time together – that waiting is no fun.”
Both Jonathan and Naya have had sex in the past, but have been abstinent in the time they have known each other.
They became an item in October 2022 before Jonathan proposed in May of this year.
He said waiting until marriage hasn’t been easy and hasn’t been without its moments of temptation.
He said: “If we’re out late at night we decide to meet somewhere in the middle of the two of us so we’re not tempted to sleep in because of a long journey home.
“What also helps is honest conversation – admitting ‘I’m horny and you’re horny’ can help ease the tension.”
Jonathan goes to the gym up to four times a week in preparation for their first time.
He also does some personal training work with Naya – to make sure they’re both ready.
He said: “The goal is to be at my best. I want to be good for her so she can enjoy my body.

“Some of the benefits of abstaining while being together have been having the chance to get to know each other without being blindsided by a sexual high,” Naya said.

He argued that “it’s not just for the bedroom.” Jonathan wants to be the “best person” he can be for her “physically, mentally and emotionally”

Jonathan believes that “abstaining is not supposed to be perfection. It’s supposed to be something you’re shooting for.
“It’s not just for the bedroom – I want to be the best person I can be for her physically, mentally and emotionally.
“But our private time together is the point of all the preparation.”

He said: “I’m doing all this cardio, all these HIIT workouts and burpees too – I don’t want to run out of steam! »
But he said what he looks forward to most is “spending time with her endlessly.”
Jonathan said: “Without physical intimacy it can be a challenge.
“I can’t wait to wake up and sleep together.”
