A woman was surprised to discover she was six months pregnant, because she had no lump or symptoms.
Lily Somerton, 21, from King’s Lynn, Norfolk, was still on her period and had no symptoms to indicate she was pregnant, until she felt her stomach move while she was lying down.
Lily, already a mother of one, recognized the feeling from her previous pregnancy and took a test to be sure.
The test came back positive and Lily was immediately scanned and told she was 24 weeks and experiencing a cryptic pregnancy in April 2024.
A cryptic pregnancy is when a woman does not know she is pregnant until the end of the trimester or even until she is in labor.

Lily was still on her period and had no symptoms that would indicate she was pregnant, until she felt her stomach move while she was lying down (pictured, 20 weeks pregnant).
Doctors told Lily that she may not grow a lump for the rest of her pregnancy, but that her baby, due in July 2024, is healthy.
Lily, a support worker, said: “I was in bed and saw my tummy moving. I took a test and it was positive.
“I went for a scan and they told me I was 24 weeks. I was shocked. How was I so far along? It was surreal. I was still having my periods. They said maybe I wouldn’t get any hits.
Lily became pregnant with her first child, now 19 months old, unexpectedly when she missed her period. She gave birth to him in October 2022 and he weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces.
She said: ‘It was a shock. I discovered it from the beginning. I soon got over it.’
After splitting from her first son’s ex in mid-2022, Lily met her current partner, Ashley Davis, 35, a window installer, in April 2023.
Lily also lost her father Wayne Somerton, 51, a window fitter, in November 2023 to throat cancer, just five days before her 21st birthday.
The mother went out to celebrate without knowing that she was seven days pregnant.
