A former Virgin Atlantic flight attendant has pulled back the glamorous curtain to reveal the downsides of cabin crew life.

Skye Taylor, 48, finally called time on her flight attendant career after 17 years when insomnia began to take its toll.

It has now revealed the main stresses that cabin crew endure on the most problematic routes.

The fact that alcohol was freely available to passengers on long-haul flights also became a major problem for her and other flight attendants, Skye said.

The mother explained that the crew would often try to campaign to remove alcohol from certain routes as “it would get so bad”.

She dropped the bomb that Thursday flights to Las Vegas, especially those headed to boxing or other big events full of “rowdy men,” were some of the worst.

On numerous occasions, there have been incidents of rudeness and dangerous activity among passengers on these flights, according to Skye, who now has a raunchy career at Babestation.

‘I have never been attacked, but verbally? All the time. It’s horrible up there. “Sometimes it seems like everything is going to get out of control and it’s not a nice feeling,” he told daily star.

“I’ve had people hiding alcohol, smoking vapes in the bathroom, being very rude to cabin crew, trying to grab cabin crew, and people shouting in your face.”

‘When you go out to the kitchen, people serve themselves in bars. “It can be absolutely horrendous,” she added.

Flights to sunny Los Angeles and the Caribbean were among the flight attendant’s least favorite trips to work.

Celebrity and high-class clients are among the worst for their bad behaviour, Sky revealed.

“If you have big names in the upper class, they will take advantage of that,” he said.

“They know they are important and they have paid a huge amount of money to be denied a drink.”

However, it wasn’t just the alcohol that made some trips especially grueling.

Skye believes that after the pandemic, more travelers are taking prescription medications, making flights even more difficult for crew.

The diligent stewardess always made sure to advise her passengers to be careful when taking sleeping pills and drinking.

He explained that many would have varying reactions due to the altitude, noting that some people’s personalities would change completely.

Skye has experienced several travelers who have been really “rude” and “horrible” before falling asleep and waking up “completely changed.”

The mother, who has now opted for a more daring career at Babestation, also shared that celebrities and high-class clients were among the worst.

“They know they are important and they have paid a huge amount of money to be denied a drink,” he said.

Revealing that he believes more studies should be done on the prescription medications in effect during flights, he said: “Especially on the route to Los Angeles.”

‘It used to be quite traumatic for some crew. People can do a lot of substances like Xanax and all this kind of stuff, along with drinking, is just a recipe for disaster.’

Another problem, according to Sky, is that tourists buy duty-free alcoholic beverages, using them as an “excuse to be completely drunk” during the trip.

The mother, who works night shifts at Babestation, revealed she would discover empty vodka bottles scattered around the plane.

Revealing that short flights to Ibiza could never be expected to be a “sensitive” environment, he believes crew should be given duty-free drinks before take-off.
