A woman left people stunned after showing how her ‘reusable’ Lush face mask fell apart after just 30 seconds.
The UK-based TikToker, who goes by the title The Lush Queen, took to the platform to express her frustrations after wearing the mask.
In a clip with more than four million views, the content creator shows how the thick mask was already disintegrating from the moment she placed it on her face.
Along with an audio repeating “Uh, what’s that?”, the product that looked like torn slices of ham hung in the air.
Adding to his frustrations in the captions he wrote: “Sorry but why did I pay £9 for this?”

The ‘Bunny’ mask is available to buy in branches across the UK and via the company’s website.
Describing the vegan beauty product, the description reads: ‘Dull skin? No need to hide! Get bright eyes and a bushy tail with this brightening blend of pineapple and pomegranate juices that illuminates your skin.
“Meanwhile, kaolin clay offers a deep clean and glycerin keeps you soft and hydrated.”
The mask should be packaged and placed in the refrigerator after initial use and can be used for a week afterwards, according to Lush’s website.
However, this was not the case for Lush Queen, which regularly reviews the brand’s items.
Viewers flocked to the comments to point out the crumbling mask, with one person writing: “I thought it was ham.”
“You look like a runaway animal undergoing cosmetic testing that finally gets its revenge by wearing a human as a suit,” a second brutally commented.
Another chimed in: “It looks like those meat sandwiches you used to have in the shape of bears and other characters when you were a kid.”
Lush claims the £9 Bunny mask can be reused for up to a week after first use; however, this was not the case for the content creator.
Reaction: Thousands of viewers flocked to the comments section after seeing the clip.
“It looks like the only scene in Mean Girls where Damien puts ham on his face,” one person joked. “You paid £9. Lush should pay you £9,000 for emotional damage,” another added.
One furious user wrote: “No girl that is completely unacceptable. I would go back to the store.”
Others were confused as to how the item could even be marketed as “reusable” due to its 30-second clip life.
A Lush spokesperson said: ‘As vegetarians, this will be the closest we’ll get to improving your skincare routine!
“We hope we have not caused any inconvenience to Parma-nent, if you contact our customer service team they will be able to resolve the issue for you.”
