With spring in full bloom, many Brits will be revamping their outdoor space to ensure it’s in tip-top shape by the time summer arrives.
However, depending on how your garden looks now, it could be costly to get it looking perfect in just a few months.
A savvy mother-of-three has revealed how she completely transformed her garden, using just one item: a can of beige paint.

But when it comes to outdoor renovations, the British mum admitted she’s not an expert so wanted a simple way to “bring a bit of life” to her garden.

She said: “I love spending time in my garden but it was starting to feel a bit dull lately.
“I’m definitely more of an indoors person than a gardener, so I was looking for a quick way to inject some life into the space. Turns out all it took was a can of beige paint to completely revamp the area!
“I only used one can of Sadolin Superdec for my fences, shed and wooden picnic bench, and the garden is now unrecognizable.
“I opted for a neutral beige shade, which made the space feel much lighter and brought cohesion to all areas of the garden.”

Kerry used Multi-Surface Beige Garden Paint for her fences, shed and wooden picnic bench, tying it all together and brightening up her outdoor space.
She explains: “I wanted to use the same shade of paint for the shed, the gate and the picnic table.
“I first roughly sanded the shed panels, then I was methodical with the paint, covering one horizontal panel at a time.

When it comes to outdoor renovations, the British mum admitted she’s not an expert so wanted a simple way to “bring a bit of life” to her garden.
“The fence panels were more difficult to paint, but luckily because of the type of paint I used, they didn’t need a separate primer. I also used a Prodec shed and fence brush which made the job even quicker.
“The picnic table was damaged by the weather so required a fair amount of preparation work before it could be painted.
“My advice here is to go on vacation, leave the cleaning to your in-laws, and have your father-in-law sand it down so it’s ready to paint when you get back; That’s what I did, and it worked really well!’
Kerry opted for a neutral color so her garden would better coordinate with her home.
“In the past, I painted our house in bright, vibrant colors with matching furniture, but over the last couple of years my tastes have changed and I’ve opted for a more neutral palette,” she admitted .
“I also wanted to incorporate this into the garden to make our whole house more cohesive.”
Fellow DIY enthusiasts were impressed by the brightening transformation, with one user commenting on Instagram: “Looks amazing”, and a second adding: “Wow fabulous, fabulous, fabulous”, alongside an emoji of fire.
A third wrote: “You always have the best transformations”, and a fifth: “I love the color you chose.”
