I entered through the diary room and even got to see the new chair, which will be kept top secret until Saturday.

When you’re sitting there you’re faced with a blinding light and a camera and it’s actually really intimidating.

The voice of Big Brother soon placed a secret mission on me and I was tasked with saying something in the voice of iconic narrator Marcus Bentley every time I entered a room.

This was hysterical and sounded like a lot of fun, but I definitely failed after feeling so overwhelmed running around the place and quickly forgot about it.

The Big Brother house is actually inside a giant warehouse studio with a bunch of cameras and lights, but the contestants will never see it or know how busy it is with things constantly happening.

Once I entered the living room, I met and took a selfie with presenters AJ Odudu, 36, and Will Best, 39, who were also checking out ahead of Sunday’s launch.

It was like walking into a neon rainbow or a fairground, especially the hallway to the diary room with bright, blinding lights and lots of contrasting colors. I wouldn’t be surprised if the paint splatter issue gave some of the housemates a headache.

I noticed that the open plan kitchen and living room were smaller than they appear on screen and it was surreal to be where so many iconic scenes took place.

The bedroom was probably the best room, I loved the pink theme and it was a little more toned down than the rest of the house.

There were very comfortable beds, but one was a little nicer and had a raised platform that might come into play later in the series.

There was a lot of random decor and it was much larger than I expected, with very high ceilings and mirrors on almost every wall.

I noticed a strange statue of a cat high up on one of the walls and thought it might mean something or wondered if it was a secret chamber.

The garden is equally spacious and you can see the buildings next door, which is the only place in the entire house where you can glimpse the outside world.

I also noticed that the seating area was not big enough for all the housemates, so cliques will form.

But before I knew it and after failing in my secret task, Big Brother evicted me over the loudspeaker.

comes later Both AJ and Will suffered ailments before launch night while Get ready to welcome a new generation of housemates for the third time.

However, appearing on Capital Breakfast on Thursday, Will revealed that both he and AJ suffer from individual illnesses which could spell trouble for the live launch show.

He explained that he suffered “neck stiffness”, meaning he has difficulty moving his head, and was forced to visit an emergency physiotherapist.

Speaking to hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Will explained: ‘Yes, I have a stiff neck. It’s a little better today, yesterday was bad, I have an emergency physio in a couple of hours after this.

Poking fun at the inconvenient timing, he added: “It’s always nice right before the biggest show of the year, when you’re going to be live for six weeks, doing all kinds of crazy stuff, not being able to move.

‘So I’m sorry Chris, I can’t really look at you (laughs), you’re on the wrong side!’

Sian then joked: “That’s why we got you a swivel chair, so you can move your whole body,” prompting Will to reply: “I can perform the live show in one of these!”

However, he added that he couldn’t even lean on his co-host for support as AJ “lost his voice.”

Will said: ‘AJ lost her voice too, yeah sorry, saw her yesterday, we recorded a podcast.’ That’s why he’s not going to do radio today!’

He admitted he was “nervous” about the live launch, but insisted it was because of his love for the show and his desire to make sure everything went well.

He explained: ‘Yes, of course I get nervous, because I love this show so much, so I’m nervous that we’re going to do it justice, about the format, I’m nervous about how the housemates will do.

‘But once we get to Sunday, just before we start working, the nerves disappear. “I can’t wait to meet these people.”

Big Brother returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

It comes after AJ and Will suffered ailments ahead of launch night as they prepared to welcome a new generation of housemates for the third time.
