Soldana, 26, left California for France to pursue her music career, but her change of location prompted her to become a Parisian in her own right.

In a clip shared on her TikTok, Soldana stunned her over 43,000 followers by sharing the ‘wild’ way the French tap keyboards
“I’m willing to bet you never knew that from the French. I just made the craziest discovery,” the singer said at the start of her video.
Next, she explained that while everyone knows there are many cultural differences between the French and Americans, she never thought the number of fingers they type was one of them.
“But did you know that the French only type with these fingers,” she said, showing her index and thumbs.
“I have proof, check out this video of my French boyfriend kicking the car next to me,” she said before showing the clip of her beau.
Soldana said her partner was also not the first Frenchman she had seen tapping this way.
“In the United States, we type with all our fingers,” she added.
She then explained that when she was younger, she took a typing course, in which she was taught to type with all her fingers.
“When I was six, we had a computer class and I was trained in software called Type to Learn, where we assigned one or more letters to each finger,” Soldana explained.

At the end of the clip, Soldana said she wasn’t claiming either was better than the other.
And while many people might argue that the keystroke variation is due to the different keyboards, Soldana said that’s not the case.
The French keyboard, known as Azerty, is very similar to the American keyboard, the Qwerty.
The keyboards have the same layout, except that Q and A, and Z and W are swapped. The M is also in the middle row instead of the bottom one.
And, Soldana said the difference in typing had “nothing to do” with keyboard variations.
At the end of the clip, Soldana said she wasn’t claiming either was better than the other.
