A traveler who lived in Australia for a decade has revealed the three things he misses most about Australia.
Paul Ferrante, who returned to Canada in June, is on the verge of tears when he thinks of our country’s love of sarcasm, good coffee and salty chicken.
Taking to TikTok, the comic explained that sarcasm is his favorite trait when it comes to making friends.
And says the Australian approach is first rate.

“This is the height of sarcasm.”
In fact, Paul claimed that he “died without it.”
Next thing on his list is chicken salt – long considered the king of salt in Australia, but barely adopted elsewhere.
“It’s a level above salt, I can’t even explain it,” he said.
“It’s basically crack for fries.”
Before moving on to the third thing – the one he misses the most. Australian coffee.
“I went from real Australian coffee to Canadian filter coffee – literally like eating in a five-star restaurant rather than licking a shoe,” he said.
He added in the comments that he didn’t “mention beaches” because he didn’t want to cry online.
And people were quick to comment on the coffee phenomenon.
“North American coffee makes no sense, you have the same Italian influences as in Australia,” one person said.
Paul agreed adding that someone could “make a killing” brewing coffee the Australian way in the US and Canada.
