I had to see these Hello Kitty game accessories, so now you too

Razer is known for making some of the best, flashiest gaming gear on the market, from the best-in-class Basilisk V3 to the stunningly powerful and portable Razer Blade 14. Today it’s announcing something, well, something else. The company has teamed up with Sanrio to release a range of Hello Kitty themed gaming accessories.

You may think I’m making this up, but alas, I’m not. Look:

The gang is all there.

There is a lot to unpack here. As you can see, we have a mouse, a mouse pad, a Bluetooth headset, a chair and a lumbar pillow. It’s not just the pussy herself that’s everywhere – other franchise characters, including two I’m told called Badtz-maru and Keroppi, make an appearance as well.

You know what? I was willing to roll my eyes at these, but they’re pretty cute. If you have one of the several bright pink laptops that Razer has released over the years, I think these should go well with it. Just make sure you don’t wear bright red anywhere near this setup as it’s going to hurt my eyes.

If you want to buy one of these (they are sold separately so you don’t have to buy everything), you can use the chair for $499, the mouse and pad for $64.99, the headphones for $119.99, and the lumbar pillow for $59.99. If boring things like specifications are important to you, the chair is a Iskur X with a leatherette cover, the mouse is a DeathAdder Essessential with a 6,400 DPI optical sensor, and the headphones are from the Razer Kraken BT line (there is a normal “Kitty Edition,” sans hello, too).

These are all a bit more expensive than their non-Hello Kitty counterparts, so they’re certainly not the best bang for the buck – but can you really put a price on the meme potential of filling your gaming setup with anthropomorphic cats? ? Excuse me while I try to convince my employer to let me cost a cat-themed home office.
