A Taylor Swift fan has revealed how she managed to score tickets to the singer’s Eras tour just hours before the show started.

Dedicated Swiftie Helen Derbs was determined to see the global superstar perform live at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium, but still didn’t have tickets on the day of the concert earlier this month.

However, she didn’t let that stop her and, with only three hours to go, Helen managed to get tickets and take her mother to see the show.

Health coach Helen, who posts on TikTok under the username @lifecoachhelenrevealed how he managed to attend the Eras tour despite not having a Ticketmaster code.

Helen explained: ‘So we monitored the trends in ticket prices for the Edinburgh show and the Liverpool night show.

‘We look at the different prices by time of day until half an hour before it starts, because I’ve seen some people get really cheap tickets 30 minutes before.

‘The cheapest tickets we saw were around 3pm. Now, I bought them a little later, I expected them to go down the closer I got.

‘But 4pm was my breaking point because I didn’t want the anxiety. So I paid between 40 and 50 pounds more than what they were paying at 3:30 pm’

Helen explained that she used resale website Stubhub to buy her tickets and ended up paying around £500.

She and her mother were sitting near the end of the stage and had a “slight obstruction,” but it didn’t end up being a problem.

The Swiftie explained that it wasn’t a trick to “save money,” but simply to “get tickets” in the first place.

Helen continued: ‘This video is not for anyone looking for cheap Taylor Swift tickets. We paid around £500 but it was worth every penny.

“Now yes, we pay a lot more than people would have paid last year but of course that’s exactly what will happen at a sold-out show, especially when there were only three nights in Liverpool.”

Helen brought her mother on the tour and posted a photo of them dancing to Blank Space and “having the best time.”

She later posted a clip of her dancing at the concert and having the time of her life at Blank Space, and even hoped to catch a glimpse of the singer’s famous boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

However, Helen urged her followers to look at resale websites with caution and be wary of prices that may appear too low.

He added that he bought his tickets through a secure payment on Paypal and used a credit card.

Since the Eras tour was announced, it has been revealed that Taylor Swift fans have been scammed out of more than £1 million by ticket scammers claiming to be offering tickets to the star’s UK concerts.

Consumer expert Alice Beer previously explained on This Morning how fans can protect themselves against fraud.

He said the first thing to consider is where you buy, adding that sites like Facebook do not allow ticket sales.

Alice said you should go to Ticketmaster, a box office or a trusted promoter to get tickets and make sure all transactions are done through the website.

The way you buy your tickets might also cover it. If you buy them by bank transfer, you are less protected than if you used your credit, debit or PayPal card.

She advised fans to slow down and take a second to think about where and from whom they are shopping.

Alice said fines are not the only thing at risk, car parking and hotels are also places to pay attention to.

The Shake It Off singer has started a series of shows at Wembley Stadium in London, which was even attended by Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte on the first night.
