‘We still have a few showbiz jobs here and there, but it’s no longer my full-time job and I needed something to pay the bills.
“I’ve always been a very social person and love working with the public, so when the Wetherspoons job came up I thought it sounded perfect.”

“My partner is seven years younger than me and used to watch Fun House – he finds it a bit strange that he used to watch me on TV and now we have children together.”
She added: ‘My mother-in-law Dolly helps look after the children, as does my own mother. I’m lucky that work won’t take me away from them for too long.’
The show included grunge-related “messy games” and a “funny kart” Grand Prix in which teams of children competed against each other.
