A woman was shocked to discover a hidden second room in her home after pulling up the carpet.
Midwife Aurora was renovating her home when she and her partner discovered the hidden “secret” room.
She claims they had no idea this part of the house existed, despite having lived in the property for four years.
Hidden behind two bookshelves, the mother noticed that there was something peculiar where the wall meets the floor.
The room now acts as their children’s playroom, however viewers were left concerned for their safety following the discovery of the “creepy” room.

Posting the video where they made the discovery, Aurora’s husband can be seen pushing a section of the wall to reveal a metal door.
At first they thought it would be used as a “gun safe” or even a “bunk shelter” or “panic room,” but the parents were stunned to find the room small and empty.
The empty space was dotted with numerous stains on the floor, as well as dirty carpets, a light switch, and various electrical cords.
‘Oh my God, what the fuck? We’ve never seen this in our house and we’ve lived here for four years,’ Aurora said upon finding the new room.
‘I can believe they didn’t even tell us and there is a drain.
Looking at the space around him, he added: “What the hell is all this about if we bring a cadavar dog?”
Hoping that the marks on the floor were just a ruse, the pair quickly scanned the room to see if there was another passage.
However, all they found were dirty floor mats and a small ’90s-themed toy chicken.
As they discussed the possibility of turning the space into a room for one of their children, the man joked, “Maybe we could turn it into one of the kids’ rooms.”
Although the parents were excited to find the supposedly “secret” room in their house, many users quickly jumped to conclusions and called it “creepy.”
‘Ma’am, that screams fourth murder. The door can only be opened from the outside,” one joked.
Despite owning the house for four years, the couple was surprised to find a room they believed was a former panic room or bunk bed shelter.
People were quick to point out the strange aura of the secret room, while others were apparently unconvinced that the parents didn’t know about the room.
“What the hell is all this if we bring a dead dog?” wrote a second.
‘That’s so crazy!!! Are you sure there isn’t another secret door there?!? Maybe you guys have a secret labyrinth running through the house,” said another.
‘Okay… but why was there a toy in that room…?’ asked another.
“It can’t be a panic room if you can’t close it from the inside… that’s kind of sinister,” assumed one follower.
However, not everyone was convinced that the parents were not aware that the entire room was in their house, and one of them said: ‘So there are no footprints on the floor or ceiling where the wall slides? How is it possible that you don’t know?
