A traveler has revealed how she traveled to Milan for £50 for pizza and Aperol spritz, which she claims cost her less than a day in London.
Dagmara Kedzierska, 30, from Manchester, decided to travel abroad because she was prevented from traveling within the UK due to rising train fares.
It would have cost her alone more than £100 to take a train back from her home in Manchester to the capital.
So the thrifty traveler decided to fly to Milan Bergamo for just £50 return.
Arriving at 10:50 am in the Italian city, he started his day having coffee with a freshly baked croissant for breakfast.

Dagmara then took the £6 train back to Milan to hop on the £2 metro to the Duomo to see the sights, including the cathedral.
After touring the area, he took the tube back to the station to catch an £11 train to Malpensa Airport.
Catching his flight home, he arrived in Manchester at just 1am the next day.
Dagmara said: ‘Day trips abroad are much more attractive as they are most of the time cheaper than staying in the UK.
‘My trip to Milan cost me less than £200 including flights, transport, food and drinks.
‘The weather abroad is also more likely to be better than here. I live in Manchester and the weather hasn’t been the best lately! Traveling abroad, even just for a day, puts me in the holiday mood.’

‘I also love food and traveling abroad, even for a day, allows me to try new foods. Restaurants in the UK are very basic and most of the time you will eat pre-cooked pasta or pre-cooked pizza.
