‘I cringed so much!’: Love Island viewers mock Hugo after being brutally suppressed by Casa Amor’s Amy

Love Island viewers have taken to Twitter to ridicule Hugo Hammond after he complimented Casa Amor bombshell Amy Day on her dress, but was completely ignored.

Following Tuesday’s episode of the reality dating series, fans compared the gym teacher, 24, to The Inbetweeners’ character, Will McKenzie, and ‘huddled’ after the brunette beauty, 25, ‘broadcast’ him in full.

Amy was seen walking out of the Casa Amor villa onto the terrace in a striking orange dress that hugged her curves.

She strolled past Hugo standing next to Love Islander Jake Cornish.

“Little orange number!” he commented on her gorgeous outfit, but Amy walked on and didn’t even acknowledge his presence.

Not sure what to do, Hugo looked in the direction of Jake, who said, “Save it with her, don’t you?” to which Hugo replied: ‘Yes, I’ll talk to her.’

The performer may have decided to ignore the teacher after bonding with Tyler Cruickshank, whom she’d asked to share a bed with the previous night.

The gym teacher spent the second day at Casa Amor’s villa exploring potential new lovers, insisting that he “go crazy” and chat with as many new bombs as possible.

Disgruntled fans were quick to criticize Hugo’s use of the phrase. slang term was ‘weird’.
