This is the shocking moment a woman’s kitchen came dangerously close to being set on fire – before her hero dad saved it.
Megan McSweeney, from Bolton, filmed her father, Johnny, on camera as he frantically tried to save the room and possibly the rest of their home from the burning flames.
In the video, the fire appeared to start at the kitchen stove, where her father can be seen trying to remove an engulfed baking sheet with a cloth.
After successfully retrieving the tray, he bravely threw it into the sink before jumping backwards and shouting ‘damn you’ – all while his daughter burst into laughter.
The video began with a view of a long wooden dining table neatly set with dinnerware and partially filled wine glasses.

The focus then shifted to an oven which had been completely engulfed in flames as Johnny stood in front of it.
Megan and other family members could be heard warning him with the words: ‘be careful, be careful’, but Johnny instead threw caution to the wind and bravely tried to conquer the fire.
The fire raged on, coming only inches from his forehead as he reached into the oven with a cloth to tame it.
In one fell swoop he went for the baking tray, pulled it out of the oven and finally plunged it into the kitchen sink.
As if that wasn’t dangerous enough, the hero picked up the burning tray and turned it upside down to allow running water to extinguish it.
Naturally concerned, people in the background could be heard screaming ‘oh no Johnny’ but their cries went unanswered.
He then returned to the scene to blow air on the last remaining flames, finally extinguishing the fire.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the ensuing fire, thanks to the quick reactions of Megan’s father.

It happens after a quick-thinking dog has set off a fire extinguisher, but bizarrely no fire broke out.
In the hilarious moment, the dog lit a fire extinguisher and left an entire pub full of punters covered in white foam.
The video shows the dog accidentally setting it off by jumping after it was tied up to the wall-mounted fire extinguisher.
But despite the foam splashing everywhere, a man who appears to be drinking Guinness stays with his pint on the bar.
The CCTV footage was captured in Oban, Argyll and Bute in Scotland on Friday 17 February.
