Freshman BBC Saturday night series I Can See Your Voice has been recommissioned for a second season, despite the show still in its first run.

A source told MailOnline exclusively that the show – directed by stars Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond, Jimmy Carr and Paddy McGuinness – that BBC bosses see it as ‘a runaway success’, and that they’d like to get it back on screens for a sophomore round.

Due to the incredible success of the ratings of I Can See Your Voice, which has brought much-needed fun and laughter to prime-time television on Saturday nights, the show has already been up and running for a second series.

The series has been proven to add fun to those stuck at home as the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK progresses, with outdoor entertainment restrictions still firmly in place.

I Can See Your Voice premiered in April and is based on the South Korean program.

The celebrity panel gives clues to participants to eliminate bad singers from a group of six people by guessing who they are without hearing them sing.

Amanda is also expected to return to her long-standing role as Britain’s Got Talent judge next year, if the series returns as planned amid the pandemic.
